I saw that Tha God Fahim is having a sale on his discography and I have always wanted to jump in - if I were just to get one, what project should it be?

honestly you should just get em all to be safe. his discography is only $267 right now, down from the regular low low price of $18,000 - that price is already extremly reasonable and cost efficient, so this is a steal.

yeah, each individual project is his and miss, so getting as much as you can and compiling your fav tracks from it all might be best.

however, the projects that i thought were the most consistent from his 2017 releases were tha tragedy of shogunn, dump gawd 5, and tha ineffable conflict of roosevelt creek.

Thing is I've never heard anything by him so I'm not ready to commit that much money to the dude - I'm still in school and saving my money for other things

speaking of which, with bandcamp, if you choose to buy their whole digital discog, do you get all future releases too, or just the current discog? i'm guessing the latter.

nah, you don't get future releases 88. i bought lil ugly mane's entire discography on bandcamp when it was on sale last year, and a new project has been released since then that i don't have. the "buy digital discography" button is still there, but it says $10.65 instead of the total price of all his albums.

It depends on if the seller chooses to add the release available to back subscribers or not. You can choose what album you want available to your subsribers when they buy your discog

They do that because every time you put out a new album if you give it to your back subscribers they basically get it free cause they already paid said amount for said albums so say if I purchase today for say $200 for example and get say 10 albums for example every album they release from this day forward would be free because I already paid and im not gonna be charged again for the new release so its kind of a stupid concept

huh, i thought you could only do that through the subscription service on bandcamp? lil ugly mane's discography is the only one i ever bought so i've never seen that. i doubt any semi-prolific artist would ever make it so you get all future releases when you buy their discography though, nevermind someone like fahim who drops at least a dozen projects a year.

buying an artists discography on bandcamp and subscribing to them are two different things

hm. interesting.

i'm thinking of getting sealab's discography - it's fucking huge - which is available for $36 right now. he's got 50 projects in his discog. one of those guys that releases music often. i want all his current stuff, so i can filter it down to the best of the best, but worry that the best has yet to come in his career. i'm hesitant to pull the trigger on this purchase, lol.

man i know sealab/NLK from tumblr back in the day, dude is hilarious.

$36 is a steal for 50+ projects though, that's less than 1$ per project so even if you only liked one track off every one it would still be worth it.

it'll actually be about $44 for me, since i'm in canada. exchange rates, and all. however, that'd still make each project less than a buck. i'll probably go for it.

I have no idea who this sealab is.
The exchange rate for me is 26 shillings.
For 26 shillings for 50 albums is worth the risk.
