I asked for the CD version - answer was pretty much "not now, maybe later..."
KU has CD versions of other Lewis Parker projects, so I am surprised they are giving this "maybe" for this one..
This one needs to be pressed in all major formats, no doubt

all lewis parker's an auto cop for me. some times i choose the instro version over the accapella, but, regardless, i always end up getting some version of new LP projects.

That is a small miracle the original Puzzle got a CD press - I've been asking that for years and it was always "sorry, but not gonna happen".. So it wasn't like it was planned to be like that - good it happened of course!

Damn! This whole album is banging. I don't know much on Eastkoast. Anyone wanna enlighten me? Compliments the beats very well. And Lewis Parker just continues to amaze me. Some of these beats are ridiculous. Sucks to hear about there not being a CD release. Hopefully we'll see one in the future.

Yoda, I've played that track non stop man.

Gonna buy this album. any more to recommend by Lew Parker?
You know I always stay away from ukhh because I don't like the sound of the uk MC's apart from maybe a few. I was totally unaware that he was a producer, just heard his name floating about but never paid any attention.

This is a must peep Sean...

I feel the same way about UK emcees but Parker's accent isn't that bad and over the ill landscape of beats its more than tolerable.

he's also got an album with john robinson, which is available on ughh. i prefer the instrumental version of his albums, because, like you, i don't like his accent, but he's one of those rare producers, where the instrumental version is just as good as the version with raps, and the instro version doesn't feel like it's missing something, because the vocals aren't on top of it. in other words, his beats are good enough to stand on their own.

Almost everything Lewis Parker does is sick.

Still quite annoyed he stopped rapping in his actual accent and puts on an american one.

I get why. Most americans seem to have a hard time listening to uk stuff because of the accents don't you?

Still annoys me though.

Zero, Daggo Mentality and Our Time I think.

Not a fan of our time but the other two are sick.

I'm really lookin forward to this album. KingUnderground puts out nothin but quality shit and when it comes to Lewis Parker you already know dude is come correct with dope ass beats!! It's crazy too cuz this year marks 20 years for Lewis Parker... his first released record was in '95. I still got a few things from his Discography that I need to find including that first release from '95.
