Lol. Who listens to the radio in 2017?
Children who's parents won't let em have a cellphone and adults who can't afford to have one.

Radio is basically dead. It's like reading the newspaper.

Co-sign regular radio being a dying medium. With streaming music services and satellite radio, it's not even close to being a preferred method of listening to music.

Media & Entertainment #Some Kind Of Super Long Hash Tag, You Know What I Mean?
No, Radio Isn't Dead -- In Fact, It's Doing Better Than Ever
Hugh McIntyre , CONTRIBUTOR
Aug 13, 2015 2:05 PM 14,422
Many years ago, if there was a song you wanted to hear, you either had to go out and buy it on vinyl (and then cassette, and then CD), or you had to turn on the radio and hope for the best. In the past decade or so, things have changed dramatically, and now any song can be found online in seconds, and from there the consumer can either buy it on iTunes, watch the video associated with it (should there be one) on YouTube, or stream it on services like Spotify or Apple Music. One would assume that with so many options for accessing music, radio would be having a hard time keeping up, but the truth is that itís doing just fine.

Nielsen released a report last week that states that the second quarter of 2015 has seen the highest number of people tuning into radio ever. As of earlier this year, a whopping 245 million people listened to the radio at least once a week. Thatís an incredible 91% of the American population that is twelve or older, which is music to advertiserís ears

See you guys really live in an alternate reality on this site 😂;😂;

All the hottest rap songs are on the radio?

yo help me out here. not that I give a fuck but why are you on a website that lists Flygod, ATCQ, Aseop Rock and Run The Jewels as the best albums of last year when there's gotta be other places for fuckboys to jerk around in that have the same tastes as you do?

Are things that bad? It's like me going on a NFL forum and telling everyone that soccer is better all day. #sad

Still, traditional AM/FM radio is Ė and by a large margin Ė the most common form of in-car listening. Just 8% of listeners in the car named online radio as the source they used most often and 12% named satellite radio, compared with 63% who named AM/FM radio as the audio source they turned to most often. That is up only slightly from 60% in 2015.

Terrestrial listening

Traditional AM/FM terrestrial radio still retains its undiminished appeal for listeners ≠Ė 91% of Americans ages 12 and older had listened to this form of radio in the week before they were surveyed in 2015, according to Nielsen Media Research. This data is derived from diary-collected listening information from a sample of over 395,000 respondents over the period of one week, as a part of Nielsenís RADAR study.

You the one taking fat L's to the face for admitting you actually listen to the radio. bout to get a kickstarter going for you fam. GET THIS MAN A IPHONE!!

I'm not sure about the 5-40 demo but whatever you say fam.

Why does rap music's lead man Kendrick have no "mumble rap" on his smash album?

Why does rap music's number two man Drake have 0 to do with it either?

It's the proof kid. We ain't feelin it. They tried to push that shit on us. Think about it... it's not even commercial rap. it aint even in your commercials. you just eat it up cuz youre poor. thats the real trap.

radio is somewhat defunct but it'll never be dead due to 2 things :

-local weather reports

-local traffic reports

people need them.

It won't be like youtube killing music video stations.

Now I'll let you imbeciles continue this conversation.
