The other day I was just listening Gensu's Dean "RAW" album, so I was pretty hype when I saw this on twitter; album should be out on June 23, 2017

Track Listing:
1. Life (feat. Hakhem U.L. Allah)
2. WTF?
3. Ever So Lightly
4. We Are
5. Damn
6. Ooh Wee (Shakiyla pt. 4)
7. G.O.D (Game Of Death)
8. Black Fear
9. Amen
0. Death (feat. Akil Jatu Allah)

My opinion is this will be some serious contender for AOTY!

I will be the first to admit that I haven't followed Wise Intelligent's career post-PRT. But, I absolutely love this track he did for Oh No's Exodus Into Unheard Rhythms album that uses samples from Galt MacDermot...

This shit don't get enough love slowly I'm getting to know more about Wise Intelligent: dude is so unique and both with Gensu managed to stay under (my) radar.
Wise just dropped new album this year "The Blue Klux Klan"

I actually like the Blue Klux Klan joint better than the single from the Gensu Dean collaboration...

First half was dope but by the time track 7 came along i started getting bored. Beats and hooks those last four tracks were meh.

I was expecting way more from this one; had some high expectation but in the end is just ok unfortunately...Wise did his job on the most tracks, Densu did put some nice beats, but not constant throughout the whole record.

"Amen" had some great vibe, beat, but this 'religious' content of the track kinda ruins for me.
Also like "Ever So Lightly", with "G.O.D." and "We Are" is definitely best track on it.
TOP10 of 2017.

gino's been hyping this up to me, via text message. he feeling it.

i haven't listened, but i'm not surprised to hear people say gensu's inconsistent here. gdi. was just, not even five minutes ago, thinking to myself about how J57's weak beats are entirely responsible for fucking that album with chuuwee up. chuuwee did his thing, but j57 dropped the ball. sounds like gensu did a somewhat similar thing here.

i just checked out the OP music video. pretty dope. the guy hanging out in the video reminds me of the dude omar rolls with in the wire. random fact: the actor who plays that guy is the real life inspiration for omar. a lot of shit omar does in the show happened to that guy irl (ie jumping out of a building to avoid being shot up).

just skimmed through this on bandcamp, and can see what people are saying with the beats being stronger in the first half. maybe this should have been an EP. could be edited down to one. cut all the weak tracks.

wise's rap style and delivery on black fear reminds me of early kendrick. specifically on kendrick's self titled ep and on OD.
