tonedeff is dope, if you havent heard hyphen ep check it. as an mc his delivery is almost untouchable, his storytelling, punchlines, metaphors are also incredible. as a producer hes real hit and miss with me and im not a big fan of his singing. i was kinda dissapointed with polymer tbh but theres a handful of dope tracks on there.

hes not a part of cunninlynguist they just collab alot

He's an incredible emcee and performer. His live show is dope. Definitely star potential if your average HipHop fan actually loved HipHop and listened to music beyond what they are told by the media to listen to. Extended Fam has great talent and also as much potential as any other celebrated crew.

His verses on love ain't, the distance, politics, masochist, no hope, optimist, loyal etc are some of the best shit out there. It's a shame that most people look at him as a 'fast rapper' when those 'fast' songs are far from his best work.

tonedeff is dope, i didn't love polymer though. it was an interesting album with a lot of variety, but it just wasn't for me. dude is definitely creative and versatile though and i don't think he gets the props he deserves.

^I got a signed copy of ckc

It's dope. It's really just a collection of features/singles he's releasing over the years. A few 'unreleased' stuff like a different version of The Gates.

Tippi...it's generally accepted for latinos to use the N word..but for whites...it júst sound so out of place

Personally, I feel nobody should use the word, but when a white perdón uses it, it sounds uncomfortable.

I've never listened to his solo stuff, sometimes I don't mind him in a verse but I couldn't listen to a full album I don't think .... I did recently learn he did one of the skits on masta ace's classic album disposable arts where he is is roommate which is super cool.

i wasn't really feeling polymer either but that doesn't really take anything away from his other releases, although i can't remember the last time i actually listened to one of his older projects straight through. he's always great when he's featured on another artist's track though. urutora kaiju was ridiculous. that track he was on off that last substantial album wasn't bad either.

i still listen to that extended famm album from time to time too.

I kinda disagree with the consensus on Tone. I remember really digging his shit as a teenager and 20-something-dude, but as a grown man now, his older stuff sounds dated, simple and amateurish. I think his later material showcases his development as an artist and has a much more full sound to it. Polymore is not your typical hiphop album, but give that and Hyphen a spin back to back, and you'll easily hear how lacking and shallow Hyphen is.

looks like one sold on discogs in june of 2017 for $100 and another sold in january for $38. must be pretty rare though, because the last one that sold before that was in 2013.

just looked it up, i guess there were only 2100 made.

i don't think discogs accurately keeps track because i've bought stuff at decent prices and it never registered with their "last bought" system....amazon also had one a while back for $300, but that disc too difficult to come by period

i waited 4.5 years after pre ordering his new album to finish and ship to me before i asked for refund. i cant believe he gets away with that its just not right. talented dude but i decided not no longer support his music as a result and i must assume others did too.

Discogs takes about a month to update purchases on their 'last bought' system.
