These aren't my personal Top 5 of all time. But if i was stranded on a desert island i would want a little bit of diversity in my picks as opposed to one note like '90's east coast' shit. OB4CL is my GOAT album tho.

Id say the one that just missed the cut on my list was Chronic 2001.

Most of the older ICP releases, beginning with Riddle Box.

Dingle- yeah man, those soul assassins albums is where its at imo. I grew up off those. Too many classics. It taught me alot as a kid growing up off hip hop. Some of the darkest beats known to this genre. Too bad Muggs hasnt came with another soul assassins that could top the first 2. That intermission album was a let down for me. The colab albums were ill tho. Especially the planet asia one.

The first half of Soul Assassins 1 is nothing short of amazing. Second half wasn't close. Still a great comp overall.

Way too hard to list a definitive 5 list, but I'm an old fart so I'd probably go with mostly golden age albums:

BDP - Criminal Minded
EPMD - Strictly Business
PE - Yo Bumrush The Show
Beastie Boys - CYH
MF DOOM - Operation Doomsday

Good post as so difficult to narrow down.

I guess it depends whether you could be even tougher and say 5 cds overall as double cds is kinda cheating but makes sense to maximise amount - your first 5 has 11 discs I think?

Again if I just had 5 CDs I would probably take a mix on each CD.

But if purely hip-hop and released single albums (rather than personal made mixes) only I would say:

1. Mobb Deep - Hell on Earth
2. Canibus - Rip The Jacker
3. Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein
4. Fugees - The Score
5. Dr Dre - 2001

If double / multi disc albums:

1. Wu Tang - Wu Tang Forever
2. 2Pac - All Eyes on Me
3. Biggie - Life After Death
4. Gang Starr - Full Clip (Kinda cheating as Greatest Hits)
5. Celph Titled - Gatalog - 4 for the price of One - the ultimate cheat!

Assuming it's rap only I'd bring 3 lyrically dense albums--assuming i'd be pretty bored:
1. Billy woods- dour candy
2. Shabazz Palaces- Black Up
3. Aesop Rock- none shall pass

Then 2 personal classics:
4. Mf Doom- Operation Doomsday
5. Madlib- Remixes 2 1980s Saturday Morning Edition

I admitted that one outfit looked good on you, calm down you delusional dipshit

Two reasons i look way better in my 10 year old polos and jeans than your try hard ass looks on an average day:
1. I exercise unlike your undisciplined ass
2. I dont dress like a 12 year old

Take notes dingbat

Pretty good - stayed 11 days on this particular beach which still is a fisher village. Than 6 more days on another scenic spot of this island. Overall we made ~2000 km in two countries and met a shit tone of peeps. 90% of those were locals and we drank, eat, tripped and all that shit with them. Will post pics if I found some time but like expected the first week as been a fury at work...
