i havent really followed bbz, but it seems to me he has evolved as a beat maker. the beats on the first 2 umang albums were just all too similar

Yea the albums been done for awhile now. The video for the first single was shot over a year ago. Label issues have continued to push it back. Here's the tentative track listing as of a few months ago...

LOL at fools letting a label hold them back. they must really need the $ for pressing costs cause what else are you waiting for?

I don't know the ins and outs but I'm assuming once you sign a deal, especially if its a one album deal, the label owns the rights to all music that's on that album. Don't have too much wiggle room to drop it yourselves. In retrospect they probably wish they would've just stayed route of releasing their own music but back in 2014-2015 who wouldn't want to be signed to Ill Adrenaline. They were dropping heat rock after heat rock.

^depends on the deal but you never get a good "deal". all in all these indie labels arnt going to sue umang if he releases it i dont think. bt maybe. but if umang was cam'ron the label would lay down! the other side is that if the label is fucking up then a lawyer (or maybe even self representation) can probably win a court case but umang and d rev prob cant afford a lawyer. i cant either. fuck having a label to release mad underground material.

in 2017 the best route to go, as evidenced by Fahim, Mach, etc, is to just release it yourself via Bandcamp or any other medium. Press some physicals for the collectors and call it a day.

BBZ's production has definitely evolved over the years. Remember, dude was like 16 or 17 when he produced Lasting Impressions back in 2012. He's still mad young.

There's are still two of my favorite uMaNg tracks ever...

I don't know about D-Rev but uMaNg's debut album was with Kickback who also produced those Mortal Kombat tracks...

Since then all of his albums were done by BBZ don't think they're exclusively linked.

Thanks for the holler clock!
Hopefully these autumn breathes albums becomes somewhat of a fall tradition.
and yeah these are bangers.
You know what I like about Umang?
No oversaturation.
Dude knows how to let his releases breathe, but when he does drop something best believe it's gonna be worth checking.

Damn... I'm liking those 3 songs a lot. Clock, you hear anything about releasing this album on CD? I checked with BBZ Darney a while ago and he said that the first Autumn Breathes was going to have a CD release. Apparently it didn't happen. Hopefully they do for this one.
