Just copped the new wrap remixes tape, it's fire as always:

Favorite tracks: all of them. these past few WT have been top notch.

Also digging the new Hex.11_ tape. You know when a new Hex tape is out, a new WT isn't far away. Always a good warm up:

Favorite tracks: kntfrgtu[nvrwill][dntwanto], 1minnihga_, ifudoforme_, promise_.

And out of nowhere, NxWorries just put out a remixed version of their "Yes Lawd" album... minimal drums on this joint, very different from the original album:

Favorite tracks: Wngs, Best One, Kutless, H.A.N., Scared Money, Suede (Uptwnmixx)

i wish he'd be a decent human being, and release the instro versions. i could give a fuck about a remix, i want the beats.

^ makes sense given that you listen to instrumentals at work, and your job requires focus

I listen to his shit just driving around, hence i prefer remixes to instrus. Those instrumentals you poasted are a couple of my favorites though

i just don't like remix projects in general. if there's a concept behind it, like remixing one rapper's music specifically, it can be cool to me - i guess they end up getting called "mash-up albums", rather than "remix albums", in that case - but i don't really like ones where every track is a different rapper. i don't know. those remix projects seem superfluous and directionless to me.

for example, i'm a huge fan of memory man's cuban revolution, where he remixed a bunch of raekwon's verses from his shitty second and third albums. there was a concept there, and it worked out great.

^ thats one of my favorite remix tapes ever

I do like when it's 1 rapper also, thats why that meek tape got me so hype.

My pet peeve with remix tapes is when people use acapellas that have been done already 1million times. Nobody needs to hear another fkin biggie or c.r.e.a.m. Remix... knx almost always makes his own acapellas so he generally avoids that kind of monotony
