their last album was very good, and now they got a new one out. bump!

Von Pea & The Other Guys reunite for a follow up to their 2014 EP To:You. This time around the DMV production duo give us 10 full tracks for Brooklynati native Von Pea to rap over, with an additional track produced by Von Pea himself. The music on The Fiasco represents the same quality as their previous efforts, but sounds bit grittier and more stripped down from the jazzy soulful sounds of To:You. Rounding out the album, the fellas tapped the following friends for features: Donwill, Rob Cave, Skyzoo, J-Live, Verbal Kent, and Wordsworth. The Fiasco will be available worldwide on compast disc and all digital retailers on November 24, 2017. Vinyl expected by January 2018.

i think this is a really solid album, imo it's even better than the tanya morgan album from earlier in the year.

standout tracks:

Everything
Pour A Glass (feat. Rob Cave)
Wires (feat. Skyzoo & Rob Cave)
Talent (Feat. J-Live, Verbal Kent & Wordsworth)

first time i heard that talent track i listened to 4 or 5 times in a row, thats probably my favorite track on here.

i'm digging this. it doesn't have any track as good as chasing amy, but it's more consistent. i hope these guys keep working together, because they gel.

I've always liked Von Pea since I first heard him on Foreign Exchange- Connected. Pea's Gotta Have It is a good album. I'll try to listen to this sometime today.

it was alright, i don't think there was a track on there i didn't like but the project didn't really stand out either. i liked YGWY$4 more, and i think this von pea album is better than both of those. i pretty much enjoy everything these guys put out though.

maybe you need to come over to the hip hop garage to listen to abandoned theme park on cassette to witness the true dusty greatness of it.

seriously one of my fav tapes i've bought, sounds great and i was very impressed by every track! time to bump again soon

(i'll be honest, i'm really tryin to lure you to the hip hop garage to talk you out of the whole "quelle thing" so we can watch netflix and chill and drink whiskey out da bottle jean grae at ughh style)

like i said i enjoyed it but it didn't really stand out above the rest of their discography because these dudes are so consistent. it's like moka only or homeboy sandman for me. what did you think of YGWY$4?

Brooklynati is one of my favorite albums of all time. The production is dope as fuck as are the raps.

This album is cool, the beats are solid for the most part but only a few stood out. I like the track with Donwill and the Gravegdiggaz sample on Louie BK. Talent was dope too. The rest was just okay. 7/10
