Project Polaroid (Kool Keith & TomC3) - The Original SoundTrack Album of Project Polaroid (CD)

Kool Keith Ė Sex Style The Un-Released Archives (2xLP)

ETW - What do you think about doing this thread once a month? I think it would be dope to have it go 5+ pages (maybe more), and it's easier to reference a thread once a month if I forgot to buy something that someone else bought and posted.

Thoughts?

was gonna make one this weekend but this works man. good stuff. i will say its the end of an era, the online store ive gotten deal after deal after deal on great used cds is officially dead to me. prolly ordered a couple hundred cds the past 4-5 yrs and maybe 10-12 issues as far as cracked cases or a skip on the cd. but this mykill miers i peeped this morning has a couple skips and looks perfect, than i ordered that jedi mind tricks cd and it hadnt shipped 7 days after i ordered it and 8 messages late i finally get a response which isnt like them, they say ther was a glitch in the order processing. i got my refund and im prolly gonna get the new czarface but i think ordering used cds online is gonna take a back seat for awhile entirely. sucks but this is bullshit. and heres the gem rolo and others, it used to be estocks thru ebay now its declutter store. thats my honey hole for rap cd deals. go at it guys.

i set aside about 80-100 bucks for this thrift store thats dirt cheap and untapped as far as everything goes, more so things for me to sell at these flea markets but i really wanna kill my watch list on ebay, its only 8 cd and ther all brand new. even get half of em. uhhh problems but i rather make money right now. my gf went last week and sent me video and pics of this place and thers so much shit u can barely walk down the aisles. i live in coca cola country and she said thers so much coke stuff for 1-2 dollars.

haul from the last month. put in another IST order this week, but after this my comic buying is going to slow down significantly until i've read most of my books, then i can decide what i want to keep and what to sell. my backlog is getting out of hand lol, but there's a lot of stuff here i've wanted for a while looking forward to rereading priest's black panther run, and finally reading checking out peter david's x-factor. just finished irredeemable last week and was really surprised by how consistently good it was, one of the best books i've read in years and some of waid's best work.

i just ordered a "persecution of hip hop" 2xlp from cryptic one that contains old atoms fam related tracks for $10 + ship off of his website

https://cprec.bandcamp.com/merch/persecution-of-hip-hop

i keep telling him to re-release the prequel, and if he did what would be doper? a tape or vinyl re-release? would you cop 1 if they did re-release it?!

i thought i've seen other people besides me on here who wanted one if my memory serves me right.

ill let u kno nerdy. i felt like i had it but i didnt. i must have had it in my hands and contemplated cuz i wasnt even halfway home and was like shittt i have this damn cd. the place i went is huge tho. its just unorganized and they think it isnt. hipster store for sure. either outrageous prices or i get deals left and right cuz lil 90's baby managers dont kno wats just come thru the door. nething over 10 dollars in this place is sealed with tape. i break the tape cuz i wanna see the shit before i carry it all over the store. i also got the first season of wildboyz with steve o and chris pontius. wanna re-buy that series bad. tv on dvd gets alot of miles in my house, its excellent for backround and u can just hit play all. but this place ive found better rap cds that have been misplaced in the r&b section then in the actual rap section. ther was a few new orleans rap cds i could swear were worth some money but i left em. and today im ok with that lol.

Kool Keith And KutMasta Kurt - Your Mom Is My Wife: The 1996-1997 Archives (Vinyl EP)

Masters Of Illusion (2xLP)

Dr. Dooom 2 (CD)

also:

Ice Cube - Death Certificate (2xLP)...with the horrible cover, I know.

Prodigy - HNIC (2xLP)

Killah Priest - View From Masada (2xLP)...saw this used for $5 and pulled the trigger. Not a big fan of his first album, but I know he gets mad respect on here (shout out to weatherman)...if anyone has heard this post a review itt, thx.

Funny thing is I just went through Views From Masada two days ago NWS. It's pretty weak if I'm being honest. Lyrics are beyond dope, but the production aside from a track or two are weak as fuck. Oddly enough Just Blaze has a handful of beats on here too.

Also a Canibus verse where he says something along the lines of "suck my sausage".

the Source gave HM 3/5 stars when it dropped.

I don't remember anyone talking about HM.

especially when Killarmy, SOM, The Swarm, etc, were all dropping around the same time.

HM was weak.

NWS, Project Polaroid / Sex Style Archives / Masters of Illusion are all really good. That Dooom 2 album, fuck man, I was going nuts when I heard that shit was coming out. Then it dropped and the beats were a little shitty. It was too Diesel Truckers and not enough FCFS. Still a few good tunes but a bit of a let down.

NWS- I love heavy mental, like really, really love it, why would a source review or your high school friends opinion make me think any different? 1st off, look at the production credits, no rza barely (no problem) The album had amazing beats by all the best wu elements members from that era like true master (3 beats) & 4th disciple in his prime (10 beats!) and also arabian knight did a joint. killah priest was on a whole nother level imo and has pretty much always remained that except maybe a few weak tracks on some of his albums. thats a pretty good track record over 20+ years.

my fav hm tracks

one step.
from then til now
cross my heart w gza and i-n-s
tai chi w sunz of man
bible (sounds better on here imo although i usually play it when im bumping ls, one of my all time favorite tracks)
wisdom
mystic city

the interludes on this = classic wu interludes and very fitting for killah priest imo

and even though i haven't bumped it in a while, and to some it might seem like a lengthy listen I'm sure if I bumped it tonight and compared this to every other album that came out in that era, this shit sounded more underground & raw. i mean from start to finish this shit was raw as fuck with no weak commercial attempts and priest kept it hip hop to the fullest.

perhaps his mental on here was too heavy for young n-dubb?? and not sure if you've given it a second chance thru the years, but if not, i would highly recommend it. it is def the go to album by kp from this die hard wu fan

This is a SOLID 4/5 mics bruh
