Vinyl Villain is the first one that comes to mind that still posts here from time to time that has done production for some upper echelon underground artists.

I produce 90% of my music. I have fans who love my work period. Then I have people who don't appreciate me rapping but love my beats.

The samples I use are way different.
I program beat patterns.

Engineer my own work.

I got props from Madonna and Rihana's engineer.

Always learning new things.

Do you produce?

5th point: nah, but Ill tell you this - I thought my name on here was hilarious, cause who'd ever be passionate bout bein a mirror flooding youtube w carboncopy trap right?! Then a few days later it dawned on me that the beats I like the most from my catalogue, are the ones that could be mistaken for bein other peoples sh*t sigh. Jokes on me, too passionate bout the name to switch up now tho...

Lhitewhines: cool lil loopish joint there, sample is a vibe!

Metafive: word, gemcrates on here? He came up under Premier from what I understand - gotta be a crazy experience...

Seme__one: cool, Id personally take dark and clever porn over Mr. Green, but salute them both...

Typebeats - no doubt. Beyer Dynamic make quality headphones. Even if you have a cheaper line, they're still high quality.

Thank you for checking out my work! 👍;

Yeah, I pitch samples, use them as is, slice them. Whatever works to make it sound dope.

This is an point discussion and so far removed from haters putting ppl down.

99% of people who tried to diss me, do not have a clue on creative process let alone have created a joint that garnered 10 000 + views.

Thanks again!

What other equip is everyone else here using?

Smelly Mel - thanks for pulling back on the hate 👍; more of that please.

I had a beat of mine on a beat comp called Beat the shit outta ya. Released on CD with various other producers on Legendary Entertainment.

From there I produced several solo track from emcees from my block in Rexdale from 2001- 2005

I also produced 95% of The Cali Project. Which was Bamer and Evergrin with me on all tracks.

Time is too scarce so Im careful which projects I take on.

I did produce my tracks with Pumpkinhead, Kool Keith, Cage, and Jus Allah as well.

Whatever.

Beatahoe who produced for Jak Tripper and Goretex produced the whole Death Catchetz album with me rapping.

Teamwork is everything!

I'm using akai ei pro as an interface for my electric drum set

Maschine mk2 cause I love the software I've got some great packs like massive with it. I use it and a midi keyboard for a controller

Ableton reaper or the mk2 for daw.

I use a zoom hd16 to record live instruments then move them to my pc, it sounds cleaner and less latency issues than running everything through the interface

Yeah all samples from vinyl. I actually have not cleaned either of those beats up in Izotope at all. I normally do samples as I sample them but sometimes when inspiration is there I just go ahead and flesh something out first. Those records just really sounded clean. The drums are Breaks. The first jazzy beat is just a straight loop. The second one is chopped
