posted Sunday, July 08, 2018 3:17:25 AM ^I own the Das Efx Vinyl. It's OK. That "What More Can I Say" joint has not-so-great quality. My white label bootleg from the mid 90s has WAY better quality. smh
This Artifacts LP is pointless to me. I own the original LP, the 12inch singles and the Brick City Kids 12inch. I never get these reissues when you're not including unreleased material. Is it really hard to track down original LP's or CD's of this? Nope.

posted Sunday, July 08, 2018 3:21:13 AM ^And I always wonder where they source everything? Sometimes it seems like a straight up Vinyl rip which is fuckin WACK to me. If you don't have the original DAT's or Reels or whatever then what the fuck are you doing releasing it? smh

posted Sunday, July 08, 2018 12:05:43 PM ^ really? obviously not, since some of their best releases are transferred from cassette tapes, and I'm pretty positive the cenubites tracks chopped herring released are polished versions of the radio rips that circulated for a long time as these tracks...

posted Monday, July 09, 2018 2:04:24 AM at wicked: the problem with chopped herring was that bob lost quality control the moment he announced 4 releases per month ... since then, dope folks did a better job imo since the quality of their releases is more consistent ... but I can't deny chopped herring's highlights are some of the best releases in this 'unearthed 90s music' division...
