karma kid googie got a new album out ... compared to his underrated debut album, it's more experimental with some weird beats, meybe less energetic, but there's some gems on "floating polygons" ... love this guy's vibe, he's very talented...

lol you're right eseph, i didn't see this thread

really enjoyed 'tis what 'tis, and think floating polygons is just as good even though the two albums are pretty different. going to have to give this a few more listens but that was my main takeaway from it, he switched it up a bit but it's still googie. dude's got one of my favorite voices in rap right now. honestly i've been impressed by most of the stuff coming from the karma kids crew lately though, the recent albums from headtrip and old self were good too.

eseph, this thread about googie reminded me to ask, have you heard about blockhead's new producer album/compilation or seen the tweet where he announced who will be featured on it?

i'm not sure if it's on backwoodz and there's no official release date for it that i know of, but he said he got all the parts to it and that mixing will start soon

the features he named were aes, homeboy sandman, open mike eagle, billy woods, elucid, googie, tree, vic spencer, marq spekt, and hemlock ernst
