dont make me post projects please. he posted at least 3 solid albums and like 15 dope ep's

he ran 2017. that is his biggest shit so far.

but on top of that look at the pricing shit he inspired and all the emcees he inspired to do the same. and look at all the emcees he pissed off who still talk about him in 2018.

No Mask speaking facts, all those albums listed plus all the best tracks of the eps like the Dump Truck series and the Supreme Dump Legend series make another couple of solid albums, the albums he fully produced and featured for Heem Stogied that year are really dope too, his most recent ep Rap Lord is the best he has sounded on the Mic imo, dude is pure authentic Hip Hop, back to basics

To me he released a bunch of projects following the same formula, little to no progression between releases, overpriced himself, set a bad example in terms of pricing music, and did so over and over until people got sick of it...

I mean look at rolo he was all about fahim last year

If you heard one song from Fahim you heard them all.
One dimensional ABC rapper with a weak catalog.

Too much negativity in his lyrics too.

When you rap there is a kick and snare you want to land on

Variations to that, but that is the basics to rapping

A lot of Fahim's rhymes doesn't do that

The end result is a bunch of wiggers with no rhythm at all that buy into it

It's unreal how you can't figure this out

His beats are fufu

Grow up and listen to some Rick Ross you fucking dorks

About 3/4's through 2017 he was releasing shit at too rapid a pace. As a result, i stopped trying to keep up and have only listened to a handful of albums since then. I will say though that TDSS2, Dreams Of Medina 2, and Tha Ineffable Conflict Of Roosevelt Creek are 3 projects that were in my Top 15-20 from last year.

He makes too much music for me to make the effort to listen to his shit. I ran through some of his shit on Spotify the other night and I would say 1 out of every 5 songs was good.

no irony at all. all i was saying is that many are too quick to hate but he released 10 times as much dope material as anyone in 2017. i've seen many on here assume and/or prematurely jump on the hate fahim bandwagon so its not a theory. people get caught up in the smoke screen like his personality, social media nonsense, him releasing too much material etc. when all that matters is how much dope shit he dropped.

made the thread after thinking about how hard he dominated last year but this year he's been way less prolific and even on the down low it seems.

all of his antics aside, i just don't think he's that dope of a rapper and never have, so am i really deceiving myself by saying i don't think he's released as much dope material as other artists in 2017 who i enjoy a lot more?

you completely misinterpreted what i meant. figures.

made the thread after thinking about how hard he dominated last year but this year he's been way less prolific and even on the down low it seems.

let's be real, fahim fell off like crazy in september 2017, and hasn't recovered since. he's burned out and the idiot fans supporting his high prices are inadvertently convincing him he doesn't have to keep the grind on that he had in early/mid 2017. why work hard when you got super fans that will pay literally anything for even your tired work? there's some more irony for you: fahim's biggest fans are making him a lesser artist by blindly supporting (and thereby encouraging) his worst habits.

see this thread for a full breakdown of fahim's demise (you can actually pinpoint the moment he fell off -- august 30, 2017): https://www.undergroundhiphop.com/forums/readpost.asp?Forum=Common&Whichpage=3&QuestionID=2983595

88 dying for a debate as usual.

you cant fall off the same year you dropped a dope album and a few other decent projects and only 1 year after you dominated rap and dropped 20 dope projects.

crazy that anybody would say he fell off. he can put out 1 dope album a year for now on and he still wouldnt be falling off.

Lpac I listened to at least 40 tracks, I tried a few albums. I'm not the type of person to lie don't come at me like that. He's actually decent and there is way worse music out there. My main complaint is that his shit sounds really low budget. There is a difference between lo-fi and amateur sounding. I didn't find any variation to the sound and many beats lacked any uniqueness or intrigue. His raps kind of stick to the same battle persona and he has a shouting type quality to his flow.

I've heard some tracks I liked, I appreciate his dedication to the art form and raw gritty aesthetic. Dreams of Medina 2 was the first album I heard from him and I actually like that one. The Sheikh Pull Up is ill. Feel free to recommend whatever album is similar to that cuz I haven't found it.
