I thought i was done with this type of music tbh, guess I just needed a break.

VBD is littered with bangers, stoupe laced the fuck outa the beats and jus was actually really dope back then. Obviously his voice was good but his rhymes were way more creative and his flow was better. They had a slew of nice features too who all came with it.

SIHKIH is equally good. This might be one of the best prouced albums ever, seriously stoupe was on some shit here. And this is where vinnie really started dropping some content other than battle raps and ancient egypt type shit.

History of violence has some nice moments too but jus is fairly annoying on most tracks hes on.

Also bumped seasons of the assassin for the first time in years and its really good, probably my 3rd fav album from vinnie/jmt.
I wish sean p did a full album with vinnie because his features always meshed well kinda strangely.

Gave some aotp shit a listen too but wasnt feeling it as much.

legacy of blood has stayed my favorite. vbd is classic but its not my fav. sihkih is awesome to. history of violence had some hard ass joints on it for sure, especially that lead single they dropped for it. vinnie first solo is great to. god of the serengeti i need to re visit and same with his last one. i didnt hear the last 2-3 jmt albums tho. paz is better solo just for the simple fact that the production line up he gets usually shits all over stoupe and the features are usually bananas.

Legacy of blood? I mean its dope and all and saviourself is one of there best tracks but i never loved that one. Not sure why really it has some nice production as per but i never really had that one in heavy rotation like the others. It does have an epic album cover art tho.

i would take history of violence and the bringing back of jus (no matter how big of a mistake it may have been) over visions of ghandi. i dont like that album. artwork is dope tho.

Sihkih is the one thats aging the best.

Uncommon valor
When all light dies
Serenity in murder
Heavy metal kings
Shadow business
Razorblade slavation
Outlive the war
Gutta music
Black winter day

Seriously ridiculous how many classic tracks

"Legacy of Blood" is their second best album by far imo. I used to bump it like crazy when it dropped. VbD is numero uno.

i was thinking of violence begets violence

lol

either way, both jmt cd's are now on sale on my discogs for $10 each (condition : like new)

i could never listen to that more modern album w jus allah again even if it is stoupe on the beats i just have no desire to. the group with jus besides vbd just seems so non-genuine

i did like the pacewon young zee collab on the begets tho....

how was the jmt from this year guys. is stoupe killin it like the last one or no?!
