there's at least two or three great songs on it. the rest is pretty good too. definitely worth checking out.

the first two beats are amazing. they kind of shot themselves in the foot by coming out the gate with the two best beats, because it makes you expect it to be that good for the whole album.

the rest of the album's pretty good, but those first two beats are a lot to live up to.

you'd think alchemist would be smart/humble enough to let evidence write his rhymes for him.

we seem to have gone away from that, nowadays. dre happily recited the cube, ren, and doc's lines they wrote for him, and look how well that turned out for everyone involved.

now, every producer that also wants to rap seems to insist on writing their own rhymes, and it's pretty awful, for the most part.

The first two Gangrene albums were fuckin craaaazy dope!! Especially the second one, Oh No was ridiculous on the beats on that one!

That Gladiator Music beat is hard as hell!! Dump Truck is probably Prodigy’s illest post-jail verse as well.

Still listen to the Gangrene joints on the regular. I was a little disappointed with the last album though. Beats weren’t grimey enough for the most part.

Top 5 album from 2014 and probably the album from that year i listened to the most. I would name all the bangers but really album is filled with them. Beat changes on Swimteam Rastas are ill (2 and 3 being the illest ones). Sample on See The Rich Man Play is sickly. Alchemist did step his rhyme game up a little bit on this album. Evidence and all the guest spots came correct. I initially wasn't feeling Buzzing Away but after hearing it in the whip it grew on me. Only two tracks on the weaker side are Step Masters and Mums In The Garage. And even they aren't terrible.

If i had to choose my five favorite tracks they'd be...

More Wins
Byron G
No Hesitation
See The Rich Man Play
Tomorrow

Scott Caan kilt it on here...

Gutter Water is a personal classic.

It's a good album that I rarely listen to for whatever reason. Thought it could've been a bit better. I've never minded Alchemist on the mic, he's a hoot.
