Prod. by Alchemist
414 songs, 21h 45m

I try to update this at least a couple times a year, but it needs a lot more added.

Hard to pick a top 10, but a couple I love that don't see mentioned too often:

Step Brothers - "So Fresh"
Tragedy Khadafi - "Stay Free"
Alchemist - "Shine"
Alchemist - "Departure"

seriously though, I know I'm a hater but look at the beats in this thread, can anyone with a straight face say they compare to...

Nas is Like
D'Evils
NY State of Mind
Above the Clouds
Mathetmatics
Suspended in Time
Represent
Boom
Come Clean
You Know my Steez
Kick in the Door
10 Crack Commandments
Recognize
Invincible
Follow Instructions
Mass Appeal
The 6th Sense
MCs Act Like they Know
2nd Childhood
Full Clip
Rappaz R N Dainja
Livin Proof
None of Y'all Betta
My World
The Come Up

It is actually embarrassing. Heads like Weatherman who are some of the most knowledgeable suggesting Alchemist is even remotely close to this has got me scratching my head. Insanity

Dudes catalogue is ridic. He has soo much work it aint even funny - I can understand putting him up there after all

👍;🏻;

Added 181 songs - so many good beats I forgot about.

"Wet Wipes", "You Ain't Got Nothin", "Still in Effect", "P Broke the Switch", "Spit it Clearly", "Calmly Smoke", "Right & Exact", the Boldy James album...

"Latin Thugs" is wild, wish there was an instrumental version on Spotify.

Him and Jada should do a whole album together.

We are glad you brought this up P.B.T.B. Quality post. Saw a few gems from fellow posters. Nice contributions y'all! A month ago we compiled a list of our favorite Alc beats from our youtube search history. We weren't going to create a thread for it but since you did right on time... tight work. Here's the list. It's 56 Alc beats that we have personally selected. For various levels of appreciation. Not one beat sounds alike. There is a nice batch of diversity in sample selection and time stretching. Two factors we highly listen for. We use them for inspiration when composing a quick verse for the forums or just vibe and put ideas onto the html.

Screenshot-2019-01-10-17-22-38

We find a dope aspect of Alcs production is... the verse we are able to compose no matter the format 8 bars - 48 bars... to his beats translate well to other beats. Sometimes this technique comes off forced. What we write to an Alc beat can be delivered on alternative production. The timing is so creative it ebbs and flows naturally when applied to tracks from other beat makers with unique slaps. Peace in.

Yo Who is MiCO that playlist is fucking crazy. I made my own personal one a couple years ago that I've continued adding to but it's only got like 200 songs...

Alchemist Bangers Playlist

I'm going to peep yours and most likely add some i missed. I didn't include any instrumentals on mine though as it's just a personal list of my favorites and i'm not a big instrumental head.

In regards to Alchemist, someone name a more diverse and consistent producer over the past 10 years. There hasn't been one.

👍;🏻; Clock

Some of my playlists I try to curate, some I just try to add everything

I flip flop on instrumentals, usually just quarantine them to their own playlist, with some exceptions

No doubt. I just added like 15-20 joints off your Playlist onto mine. Only went through about half the songs listed on your playlist too. Crazy how deep his production discog goes.

Side note but i had been searching for the vocal sample used on this track for like 7 years...

...and finally found it...

Gotta say Alc is my GOAT. 20+ years and arguably on top of his game now. Dropping bangers as well as branching out his sound without becoming wack or shitty, while still keeping a signature ALC sound.

Meanwhile all the mid 90s legends/GOATS have fallen off pretty hard. Altho Muggs is the man stilll.
