Listened to this for the first time. Shit is really dope. Easily the best Kyo Itachi beats I've ever heard. Lyrics are fairly straightforward aggressive and street oriented but the MCs flow proper and match the beats.

This album could've been so much better, but it certainly has its share of bangers. Proper Aim goes hard. Tour Stories has a dope nostalgic 90s beat from Domino. In the end the production falls a bit short.

What are y'all listening to?

I'll check out Bare Face Robbery for sure. That's a dope Souls comp. I've never heard There Is Only Now, I'll have to peep. 93 'til Infinity is still one of the best albums ever.

Listened to this earlier, first Jazz Spastiks album I've ever heard. As their name indicates, very jazzy beats. I liked it.

This album was hyped up on this board when it dropped. I thought it was okay. I'm a fan of IDE and Creative Juices. Hard sinister beats. It works sometimes but not always. It complemented UG's voice well.

This was average. Not much really to say, the rhymes were probably better than the beats. The A.L.L. was the best track.

i havent really been listening to anything lately....everytime i pick something to listen to i usually shut it off after about 5 tracks....nothing moving me right now.

that knowledge album was ok, but it's not going to be something that gets heavy play going forward.

hit me with some recommendations of stuff that will last.

I feel the same way Weather. Not much enthuses me nowadays. Try that Dirt Platoon album if you haven't, I think you might like that.

I've been utilizing my Spotify to listen to albums I've never heard before. This is a very positive and spirited album. Common's lyrics are full of depth and social commentary. The production by No I.D. is polished and has a similar uplifting sound. Pretty good album but I prefer a bit grittier sound. I'll probably listen again at some point.

This album is dope. Always enjoy listening to it. The beats are crazy and chaotic. Only complaint is sometimes I can't hear the lyrics over the blare.

AEOKQ, god shit checking out Common - TDTB after we talked about it...you know I love that album. My personal favorite track is Cloth. Love the piano that kicks in over the hook.

Been checking a bunch of random shit lately, but these are the most recent:

Arata - The Way I Live (2005)

Arata is the Japanese connection with Living Legends...he's kind of an unofficial member that is featured on many LL tracks.

Even without understanding any of the lyrics, this album is dope. Some really melodic beats that carry the album. Plus I'm used to Arata's flow. Sold last on Discogs for $60 and currently $130. Might have to post mine for sale, LOL.

Big L - Devils Son EP

This is such a dope EP. I'd say School Dayz is my favorite track but every track is solid. Big L is such a natural emcee.
