nice no mask! i forgot hegelian that would take the sean p out my top 10, sadly, no wait, actually raekwon. in fact, the only reason "The Wild" is up as high as it is cuz i played it a shit ton of times this year. prob my most played album this year besides rosebudds, but yeah very hit or miss raekwon album overall even tho i can actually bump each song without skipping most of the time. He should've ended the album with a better song, tho. one of the biggest disappointments was choosing to end on that weird double time-e note

5. Raekwon-The Wild

In no order...

Tha God Fahim - Tha Dark Shogunn Saga Vol 2
Onry Ozzborn - C V P Ii D
DJ Quik & Problems - Rosecrans
Willie The Kid - Deutsche Marks
Hus Kingpin & Big Ghost Ltd. - Cocaine Beach
The Doppelgangaz - Dopp Hopp
Onry Ozzborn - Black Phillip
Roc Marciano - Rosebudd's Revenge
Tha God Fahim - Dreams Of Medina 2
Mach-Hommy - Dumpmeister

Like Weather said, a bunch of solid to good albums, very few great albums that have held my interest more than a few listens.

Glad i'm not the only one that thought the Droog was sub par. Didn't seem to be as many people feeling that way when i made this thread couple months ago...

i don't get why people would talk about how few albums they listened to to this year as if it's something to be proud of, especially on a music forum. you can't name 10 albums that came out this year in a thread filled with album names? this is like how people brag about how little sleep they got the night before lol.

There really aren't any albums that come to mind that dropped already that I want to check out.

I find ridiculous the amount of Fahim and Mach fans that we have in this site.

If the rest of HipHop sites had the same ratio of fans of their music the guys would be richer than Jay Z, lol

Anyway it's a nice thread to get an idea of what good albums you might have missed. Im surprised that nobody mentioned Insight & Dam album as I think it had good receipting I when it dropped ( I didn't feel a it much this time). And I'm surprised to not see any mention to Tableek album

Overall it looks like my musical taste is quite similar to the one of tippi dink

Now I think about it Imperius Rex probably #1 for me so far this year. Blue Chips 7
was a flop lookin forward to that for like a year.

Rosebudds Revenge was nice too tho took a min to get into that but its in heavy rotation now so its between

Imperius Rex or Rosebudd

Here is my list of good 2017 albums I listened & enjoyed this year.

-Albums I really liked:

DJ Quik & Problem - Rosecrans
Jonwayne - Rap album number two
Prodigy - Hegelian dialectic

-Albums I liked a lot but didn't touch my soul:
Pawz One - Pick Your Poison
Awon & Dephlow - Sleep Is The Cousin Of Death
Show & AG - Take it back

-Some other good albums that I liked and listened couple of times:

Anti-Lilly & Phoniks - It's Nice Outside
Tableek - A deepest blue
Ol Burger Beats - Mind Games
Smoovth & Giallo Point - Medellin
Daniel Son & Giallo Point - Remo Gaggi
The Doppelgangaz - Dopp Hopp
Planet Asia - Anchoives
Sean Price - Imperiux Rex

The sad part is that I probably won't revisit any of those albums with the exception of the ones of my favorite artists. And those that I will listen again in 2018 is not because their albums were better than the rest I mentioned, but just because I tend to revisit old material of my favorite artists from time to time
