Felipe your saying popular opinion is more credible and valid but it is not. No superiority or ego when i say some seem to have not explored that far . Its evident.

I don't know. Good on Ace I suppose, dude is definitely deserving, though personally, I've never had a connection with this album. It's a great release yeah, and I guess it is considered one of his (many) classics. But I like 'A Long Hot Summer' waaaaaay more.

That being said, what an amazing, diverse line-up of artist we got this year. Just take a look at the finalist there. Such an eclectic selection of artist, all with their own unique sounds and style. This list is everything I love about the culture.

is it? is it really that obvious, because most people in here know their hip hop, if the nas and jay z album got such high amount of votes, what does that mean to you?. they are great because the majority of people know their hip hop put them up there, of course their great albums some better in my opinion also, but that doesnt make them any less great or else people wouldnt vote for them dont u think so?

Think what you want felipe. Its not like everybody on here really knows their shit. Lol. thats a known thing. Some do. Some can school me in certain areas as i can them but there are many that scrape the surface. No ego but every bodies opinion does not hold weight. People with weak taste exist too.

Relapse shits on all those albums. Stop with the revisionist history bruh.

Born Like This or Boy Meets World have legit shots at winning.

"some ppl just have weak taste and their opinion doesnt matter"

-this is true and the truth hurts. its not all about subjectivity especially when certain people have only heard a 10th of what more savvy heads on here have. if someone heard 10 albums from that year and says stillmatic is the best does that person have credibility? nope! if someones known for liking blatantly weak shit do they? nope!
subjectivity is true to a point but after a point its just human error.

^whats wrong with OB4CL2? its dope to me. only a couple weak tracks out of like 18.

relapse is a really dope album (gets unfair auto hate)with the exception of his standard 2 pop-ish tracks per album back then. some seriously hard , ill dre beats and em killed it lyrically, with the humor, subject matter. i think the accent thing was funny and creative. em and dre nailed it. ems best album IMO. hes not an underground artist but 95% of that album is real, hard rap done so well. can't front!

God I hope OBFCL2 or Relapse wins so DJ Penis can stop yanking on my nuts every damn day. I open a thread that I haven't even commented in and DJ Penis is talking about me. Multiple threads too.

And ftr, Relapse is an absolute pile of dog shit with the exception of a few tracks. OBFCL2 is straight up dope hip hop. Those 2 albums aren't even in the same league.

Also Relapse is DAFFY, stop hating. Just went back to that shit a week or two ago and rode through the whole thing front to back. Great album.

I went through a lot of trouble

Have you explained your absence from these boards for the last 10 years? We would love to hear the real story of how you were gone for a decade, only to pop up one day calling everyone broke virgins while sucking on Fahim's dick. I'm guessing you have lots of free time on your hands now. Can you tell us what happened?

Yeah, I played myself.

Or

Relapse is a distant third and I don't think should be in a podium position at all other than top 3 em albums.

First, I was broke.

Then, I was a virgin.

Now, I'm gay.

Can you make up your mind and stick with it? Like how I call you DJ Penis and you stay sucking Fahim's dick. I'm consistent with the insults.

LOL at this 50 year old "DJ" calling other people broke gay virgins. I can only imagine the level of self awareness you possess.

Relapse is either universally loved or hated on here. A lot of it had to do with the accent. I liked the accent because he was able to bend words more easily and effortlessly. Shit sounded really dope. It also played into the darker theme of the album. Plus he didn't use the accent on the best track on the LP and probably one of, if not the best since his comeback, Deja Vu.

Only really wack tracks on it are the overly commercial sounding ones like Crack a Bottle, Old Times Sake, and We Made You. Beautiful was a cool song but it sounded so out of place on this record. That shit should've been on Recovery. If you take out those four tracks and added My Darling, Be Careful What You Wish For, Buffalo Bill, and Music Box this shit would've been a classic. Dre laced the fuck out of that album with banger after banger too.
