Man, when eastern philosophy dropped I thought ap would end up being one of the best ever, but I don't think he's dropped another album on that level.

This records good, but it's more of the same bragadocio, clever battle style rhymes.

His punches wordplay flow etc are all on point I just wish there was more subject matter. There are a couple tracks with concepts on here though.

Btw holy fuck pharaohe monch killed his verse

One banger, couple of good/decent tracks, couple of garbage bin tracks. Pretty standard Apathy album.

The last track "Obi Wan", about his father, might be the best track he's ever done.

Dope record.

Only 1 or 2 tracks I'd skip.

After hearing the singles that dropped I was expecting to like this more than I did. The Obi Wan track is dope af, so was the Pete Rock/Pharoahe joint, the Premo track and the first single and the intro joint. Aside from that I didn't really like too much off of this. Apathy is incredibly talented but too much of his stuff sounds the same to me. Whenever he chooses a good topic or writes introspectively, I love his music, but the majority of stuff he releases I like enough to enjoy once or twice and not really come back to. I thought with this tracklisting he was gonna really bring his A game. I like Handshakes with Snakes better but I'll listen again when it officially drops.

This is going to have no replay value for me unfortunately. Apathy came with that same Battery Acid Alien Dripping in your lobotomy type rhymes. They are old and stale. Also Celph Titled appears to be done for which is sad.

Should just release another proper DEMIGODZ album with the whole crew. Blacastand did some stuff same with Ryu but I want to hear them all together not solo.

^^^not true though...if he did more joints like "obi wan" "chemical" "the buck stops here" etc and less of the braggadocio battle raps like "spell book" "alien weaponry" etc. he would have a spectacular album...which hes totally capable of doing but doesn't for whatever reason

There's definitely multiple children out there in wiggerdom, right now, explaining to his troop of fuck boys in his tree fort, that Apathy could have be the GOAT if he just dropped the corny personal tracks and shows of emotion.

I tried to tell you fools for every decent apathy song there are 12 more that are straight up early 2000s wigger battle rap tracks that make me cringe everytime. and celph titled should change his name to celph parody bc he is a parody of his former self now. stop rhyming about guns, battle axes, and aliens and start rhyming about being a 40 yr old broke dude from CT, that is more honest and more appealing at this pt, your audience is no longer angry 17 old whiteys, they are 40 yr old angry whites just like you.

Apathy is truly the quintessential 90's slow flailing armed wigger. Imagine this cat rolling up to a bar you were at in his giant wigger jeans, Timbs and a huge parka jacket with the fur hood and goggles on his wigger head? Oh man, what a jackass.

Apathy's music feels very surface. Like a one man boom bap tribute band. Lots of Hip Hop tropes & try hard moments. Checked him for the first time on Perestroika & I did that off the strength of O.C. Perestroika was okay, but I think it'll be a one-off with Apathy. Can't really mess with him dolo.

Always gotta give an Ap album a few spins before making a solid judgement. On first listen some of the beats and hooks I found to be pretty meh grew on me the next spin, and more the next.

All I gotta say is, he absolutely fucking MURDERS A View of Hell(Hell of a View)

Honestly aren't any songs I found myself "needing" to skip over. Dope shit overall.

No mask have you not heard eastern philosophy?

raw intelligence, everyone who offered "critiques" have been a fan of him and supporting him for all these years, so yea maybe he should. the albums dope even the songs with no concept and just straight battle raps, I just enjoy his tracks that are conceptual way more than that cause hes good at it. I like the battle rap shit too, but when its 3 quarters of the album it gets old, especially since this albums been in the making for years
