Yo Platform how you gonna leave Nick Wiz - Cellar Sounds 5 off your list? That's easily one of the best 2017 albums.

Id rather hear ETW fart into a mic for 45 minutes instead of a Group Home album in 2017.

Nick Wiz is a compilation, not an album. So it doesn't make the cut.

Nick Wiz is number 5 in my Top 10 of 2017. In my rankings, compilations count as albums. Albums recorded in the 90's, shelved, and released 20 years later don't count in my rankings though. Nick Wiz never intended for his album to drop in the 90's therefore it's a 2017 album.

lol ur strange

LOL

You said Iron Flag is better than Wu-Tang Forever. Forget strange, you're just a fucking idiot. You listed an album from the 90's in your Top 10 of 2017. That's strange. At 38 years old your hip hop knowledge is that of a novice. Your explanations for why you don't like an album are as generic and repetitive as anyone on here ie; too many skippable tracks, it just didn't make the cut, doesn't play well front to back, etc.

How about break down an album for once with a few sentences? Quality posting instead of just making bi-monthly threads about your Top 10 that includes albums that wouldn't make most boarders Top 100.

Wow ok so underground hip hop dot come has become very professional now, where the moderators are talking down to their subscribers and swearing at them because they are voicing their own opinions on something. I've never sworn at anyone, let alone a moderator! I'm Shocked!

Well said.

I really didn't want to feed in to this thread but seriously, Iron flag better than Forever? Were you around in 97, and old enough(subjective i know) to appreciate that album when it dropped?

Even IF iron flag was better(its not) than Forever, Forever would still be 100% purchase worthy.

and Lol at not including W.

The use of the exclamation points leans more towards sarcasm and trolling. For some reason though i think Platform is dead serious with that post.

And for the record, you started the name calling first buddy boy.

Platform28 - you've been posting on UGHH for almost 10 years. What part of the replies in here are surprising to you?

You make a post where you state the Only good albums worth buying from one of the most acclaimed groups of all time are 36 chambers and iron flag. What type of response did you expect to get?

Speechless isn't you seeing people swear at you. Speechless is when someone comes to UGHH and tells everyone Wu tang Forever isn't worth buying and that Iron flag is.

it was a foolish thread to begin with. Move on.

I just wish RZA would go back to the 93 to 96 sound for Wu-Tang, that was the best ever with the grimy samples and basement feel.

gotta be an obvious troll thread but lemme use that to spend time to talk how good the first 3 wu albums were and highlight the others high points

36 chambers is a definitive classic. whats saids been said. no need to elaborate.

wu tang forever is to me the greatest hip hop album of all time. its the wus epic and unfairly hated on because it was way too ahead of its time.the rhyming on here is serious next level where ever rapper is basically dropping one of the best verses of their career, one after another.

the w is fucking gem that gets lost in manys wu classic lists. its no less than a 4 mic album AT worst...id say its a 4.5 to me tho. this is some of rzas best production and his whole 2000-01 era (Supreme clientele, BPW, Ghost Dog, the w) was still top notch. The raggae theme/sound rza used on it was dope and some of my fav wu songs like hollow bones, i cant goto sleep, careful, redbull are some of my favorites.

8 diagrams had potential... mistakes with sequencing and over production ruined this album.the album version of wolves was cool but the original version is crazy with the sample. the original unpredictable aka thugs world was dope with the sample... the fucking electric guitar was horrid. even rzas portion of the song the additions to the beat are dope but that guitar and dexter wiggles are trash man.4 mic album on a good day. 3.5 prolly.campfire, gun will go, stick me 4 my riches, life changes, wolves (original), my guitar gently weeps, sunlight are all 5/5 to me.underrated album

ironflag...some gems like babies, yall been warned, ironflag, uzi, good thing i brought the glock, CHROME WHEELZ.. cant believe wu fans hated on that joint. shits hard as fuck.back in the game , in the hood ,one of these days, etc cool... rest pretty much garbage which is depressing. 4 micer on good days. prolly a 3.5 cuz of 6 flawless songs.

abt got like 6 worthwhile joints. ruckus in b minor, a better tommorrow ii, miracle, necklace, crushed egos...idk man. im a wu stan i actually do appreciate some of the beats but the song structures, lame hooks, bad singers.. preachers daughter is woat wu song. makes starter from 8d sound like ice cream pt 2.i love rza man but idk.. 3 micer at best

The sad part is that it's a serious thread. I co-sign your sentiments about Wu Forever in terms of it being ahead of it's time.
