i'm in the process of making a spotify playlist showcasing the best (or my favorite) tracks from different artists, it's at about 325 tracks now. trying to limit it to 1-2 tracks per artist. basically i'm at a point where i could use some help, so all i'm asking from y'all is to list 5 or more of your favorite tracks - any type of hip hop, any artist, any era. try to refrain from listing the super obvious tracks if you can help it though. basically no 93 til infinity, stress, simon says, shook ones, rather unique, mass appeal, investigative reports, etc.

some of the tracks i have on there now.
supersci - revolutions
darc mind - outside looking in
gift of gab - the ride of your life
asamov - boombox
ta'raach - hey!
five deez - decapitated orgasms
cult favorite - mollywop
billy woods - tinseltown
j-live - the 4th 3rd
louis logic - factotum

just to give an idea, i have a feeling y'all will be able to come up with some stuff i'd never even think of though. thanks in advance.

Just make sure you got Hip Hop Hooray by Naughty By Nature on it. Maybe start it off with that.

thanks guys, there's a few i'm not going to add for variety's sake though, trying to limit it to a couple songs per artist at least for right now until it gets bigger. playlist is up to 475 tracks now, hopefully i'll get it to 500 by the end of the day.

88 - i was wondering how long it would take someone to call me out on that lol

gino - i know how you feel, when i was looking through artist's discographies to find a song to add to the playlist there were some where i couldn't find a single one. a lot of times where i had to ask myself why i even had an album if it's not something i would ever listen to again. funny how out tastes change. a lot of that early-mid 2000's underground stuff sounds super dated and played out to me, it just sounded new to me back then because i hadn't heard that much hip hop.

thanks dr. prof, it's over 650 tracks now

i'd like to try and get it up to 1000 eventually, but i don't know if that'll be possible. i already feel like i'm scraping the bottom of the barrel as it is, at least with what's actually available on spotify.
