^as far as those i love that dilla album-one of his best imo. the sticky fingaz is really dope and a well put together album nobody ever mentions. gory days is dope but too grating, un realistic and dark for me these days. the hi-tek beats for that album are crazy but way too much singing ruins it for me. and what were rza and nas thinking with those beats?

I mean, looking at the lists so far there's some good albums, but ace, mega and nas are head and shoulders above the rest imo. I'd probably have to go with ace.

^ i was going to but timetable isnt an album its a compilation. so many tracks are poor quality audio of live shows, un released stuff, alternate mixes etc. i love the standouts like breath control, life/death, ultra bap and those are all recorded well. important release for myka fans though for obvious reasons.

i'k gonna check theal l'ron/elusive album right now. been a decade.

fair enough, i've always considered it to be an "album" in spite of that. maybe it's just because i always see it labeled as one.

NWS i'm almost positive that ugly ducklings is 2000, might be wrong though

no mask - it surprised me too, i heard that album for the first time maybe 4 years ago even though i had been a fan of l'roneous for a while. he reminds me of aceyalone but that's not necessarily a bad thing to me lol. i wonder how imaginarium will do when we do the 1998 vote.

The UD bandcamp says May 7th, 2001. Wiki says May 7th, 2001. Discogs says 2000.

I think it's 2001.

How this happens on many releases is beyond me.

Clock, take the UD album off.

I'm still not 100% sure but I think it was released in 2000. It was the same week that HBO by Mach-Hommy was released.

Amazon says 2000. And there is a rap reviews article that says "Originally posted: October 14, 2000".
