one of the greatest rap-a-lot releases of all times ... from the artwork to the beats and rhymes, very few '89 albums could fuck with this masterpiece ... rick rubin was wrong when he cut out lots of great scarface contributions for the def american remake...

I don't think anything was cut like it was already recorded then got cut cuz they re-recorded the album for Def American.

wicked, you're right, technically rubin didn't cut anything as the vocals have been rerecorded for the def american album ... but some scarface verses/tracks are missing such as "seek & destroy", a fast-paced scarface solo track, and "so sell-out", a duet with willie d, the same happened to scarface verses on "gangster of love", "talkin' loud..." and "trigga happy ni**a"...

the remix one had 2 new tracks and included a song from making trouble. to me they should have re mixed all of the original to get rubins superior mix but also they should have kept it complete, added the 2 new tracks as bonus tracks and left "assasins" off. big blunder the way they did that remix album. great to have a more full, clear and better mix but dont hack it up and add an old track! sort of defeated the purpose.
