Wait what. He's not linked to Roxy , he did an interview with her and confessed his feelings then had her in a video , they never dated

You're done

Even so I don't get how dating a girl makes up for French kissing a dude . You're trying really hard to defend this known homo and he never said that about jay z. Lupe was so good Jay z tried to sign him and he refused meanwhile murs got signed to strange music 😂;😂;😂;OmG tech 9 signed me 😂;😂;😂;😂; how does it feel the greatest rapper in the world tried to sign Lupe 😂;😂;😂;

It's a funny thread but I'd imagine there is bunch of gay emcees out there.

They aren't some sort of rare unicorn type of thing.

And not all of them aren't interior decoraters or hair stylists. They got guys like Emile Griffith/Yusuf Mack/Orlando Cruz etc... on their team.

call those guys a "faggot" and we'll see how that works out for you.

I wasn't a big fan of lupe/or kick push but I did think it was catchy.Totally understandable people resenting it because it's a blatent attempt to attract a certain popular fanbase which he has no connection 2.

Cultural appropriation ?

On the skateboard discussion...Murs already did a track 3 years earlier...a better track, by miles. Murs puts out raw underground hip hop...Not some soft push in the tush shit.

Srsly, Lupe is garbage. Like everyone said itt, Lupe is corny af.

^^ 2003 vs Kick Push, which dropped in 2006

KNEELIN' ON NEEDLES LYRICS
[Intro]
Wa-ves... you say waves, I say wa-ves
Kaepernick, waddup?
I knew they was gonna do that to you
But it's all good, though
You gotta' stand up for something, know what I'm talking about?
Yeah, uh

[Verse 1]
Gravitons
Orbit around my halo space, halo space
Little Debbie crumbs and potato flakes
Junkyard food meets 808s
Better say your grace
Stay your place, play your bass
And wait on a upright
Right up to them n*ggas that don't like us
Writer, fiber optics on high fiber
Move
Quick like that, no, I go as, "Ain't shit like that"
Magnum entendre, rollin' on a rubber
Hit Virgin for the album, I was floatin' on the cover
I pit my car, they let a lad in
I was floatin' on the cover, made a message out a mess
Got 'em clothes up the flow and taught 'em how to dress
Made a space so they can milk this way
Had 'em open up the udders
Broken off hat had folks in all colors
I wish a n*gga would try and open y'all shutters
Cartier frames, Aoki on a shirt
And red and white chukkas
Why you goin' all hard though?
NASCAR star got bars by the carload
You know LF won to come out the top
But for this ten, I'ma just open up the car door
And my deepness
Might spit the stash box sequence that I open up the cargo
If I break it down to your lil' homie, might get a n*gga car towed
You ain't gotta worry 'bout ours though
DROGAS Light, DROGAS
And I might drop SKULLS as an art show
K-dot wants stretch marks
I wanna own everything that's west of the best parts
K.R.I.T., everything from the legs down
Mickey Factz, everything where the neck starts
Necklace, head heart, go, get set, mark, oh
[Chorus]
Turn the mics up
Like a n*gga 'round fight club
And the fuzz came through to indict us
But it's an inside job to decrease the supply then turn around and drive all the price up
I be speaking it right
But it's hard to believe that people still believe that Jesus is white
Oh Lord, I be speaking it right
But it's hard to believe that people still believe that Jesus is white
All right, all right, oh Lord

[Verse 2]
But, Iím back to the mentally
And itís not about natural ability
You would think that Kaep
Took a shat on the Statue of Liberty, goddamn
Itís like weíre trapped in a memory
Untrue facts where black is an injury
It makes we wanna snap, just slap me an enemy
Then go into the back and just rap to infinity
Fuck, be more like Chance
Solo acts be more like bands
Adversaries be more like fans
BDs and GDs be more like fam
Iím just vying for the summer
Women lie, men lie
And everybody lie about the numbers
Hard to be smart when the only thing on your mind
Is dying from a thumper
I know Iím weird but n*gga itís real
Better to hear it from a n*gga like Lu
Before you hear it from a n*gga like Trump
Talking to a n*gga like you, oh Lord
[Chorus]
Turn the mics up
Like a n*gga 'round fight club
And the fuzz came through to indict us
But it's an inside job to decrease the supply then turn around and drive all the price up
I be speaking it right
But it's hard to believe that people still believe that Jesus is white
Oh Lord, I be speaking it right
But it's hard to believe that people still believe that Jesus is white
All right, all right, oh Lord

Clearly Lupe:

Lupe Fiasco took to his site to break down just why he's for Lil B's "I'm Gay (I'm Happy)," "What gets Lil B admission into my coveted genre of "Liberation Rock" is his absolute lack of fear when it comes to challenging the status quo," Lupe Fiasco says. "Let me make something abundantly clear, the title "I'm Gay (I'm Happy)" I think is absolute genius. Those two words together side by side in almost any format in the society we live in can be a cultural and social death sentence."

Fiasco continues to discuss the ridicule and threats that Lil B received due to the album's title. "The word "gay" referring to homosexuality in the minds of the "guilty," as well call them here, sent shockwaves throughout our hip-hop community. Making Lil B the target of attack and ridicule. But Lil B's ultimate intention and preference for the word "gay" was its "one who is happy" definition. So basically my lil homey was being attacked for being happy."
