How mny of you bump hip-hop around your kids and if you do what is it and how old are they? I have 9 year old son and I dont really play any hardcore stuff around him usully more kinda mainstream old school hip hop stuff. I know kids listen to all types of crazy stuff nowadays just curious about other peoples opinons on this

&^Ha, Canibus once said,

Force your kids to listen to Dead Prez, before they go to bed
Send them to school, put them in special Ed
Reinforce their paranoia of the feds

No joke tho- that dino stuff is pretty cool- I always wondered what happened to Charli 2na, ha.

My 3 year old boy has memorized all the lyrics to Dinosaurs A to Z below (not rap), and I was amazed. He loves dino stuff, so I think the Dino 5 would be nice for him. I'd like to see the Dinosaur a to z rapped too.

I pretty much play anything in front of him right now, not sure what I'll do when he's a little older though. I kind of wanted to put together a compilation of positive stuff, something with educational lyrics. I'd probably have a bunch of Grouch stuff on there and anything topical that he can learn interesting stuff from. Usually kids DON'T want to listen to whatever their parents listen to anyway tho, just dub step and mumble cRap.

Otherwise, you probably can't go wrong with Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.

Anything clean, really. Lot's of old school is kids friendly. Being obscene af wasn't always a priority in rap...
I used to play Ugly Duckling around my nephew.
