Happens all the time for me and its why i love this place. Its especially great when its an artist with multiple releases that you've slept on for whatever reason and ughh comes through with the knowledge.

Last year i got a good one when the bro nws posted the new zion I albun and i could tell from the responses that i needed to do my homework on these dudes. I've had true and living in rotation since and still need to get to the rest of their discog.

Not 100% sure what the last one was but I know I ended up checking for and really liking the last projects from Jonwayne and Melanin9 because of this board.

Cosign jonwayne and i believe the homie etw put me onto deniro, although i have only really loved that one project cliff of death which is phenomenal, but outside of that i haven't been a big fan of what i have heard

This forum really suck at times, I reckon that the reason must be that there are a lot of jackass under-30yo users, who happen to be the majority among the most active users in the forum... so they listen to lyrics done by jackass mc's and mafioso wannabes.

Despite all that I discovered some music that I would have never listened to if it wasn't because of those jackass recommendations (a broken clock can be right twice a day)

Id be very surprised if there were that many posters here under 30. Lotsa grumpy fat old losers here actually thats why were on the internet criticizing rap and generally being mad at the world.

theres 4 gems sitting in my non-hip hop post you guys can take and post in here <3

Songs I found from this forum that I love are -

Curtis Harding. Props to The Weatherman for putting me onto this guy. Such a talent. went to see him in concert last year.

Emancipator. Also The Weatherman props again. Along with BSBD some of my fav downtempo instrumental shiz.

Captain Murphy. Who ever made the first post about him on this forum. I don't remember.

Spark Master Tape. Same as Captain Murphy I learned about SMT from UGHH. whoever made the OP put me on. Amazing!!!

Etw, i liked it t but not near the level of COD. That being said i probably should give it another chance because I didn't have it in rotation for long. Feel the rain is a killer track from it.

There's been tons and tons over years but the most recent one was probably that KAAN album at the end of last year.
