I know im in the minority but that Gza/Muggs album is my favorite in the 'Muggs vs' series.

S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M, Be, and Black Market Militia would've been my next three.

^Where's your Top 5 at?

The reason why i don't mind it stretching out over the course of a week and a half is it allows me and others to revisit a bunch of albums from that year i either had never listened to or hadn't in awhile.

same here clock. through doing these i've ended up listening to a bunch of projects i haven't heard in years. to me it's more of a celebration of these years than a competition just to see what people think the AOTY is, so i like that we're not just blazing through them. i'm having a lot of fun with it.

I agree 100% tippi. That Dalek album, which i hadn't listened to in years, is a gem and been on repeat all week.

Ill say this, out of the 3 years we've done (2003, 2005, and 2007) 2007 isn't even close to the other two years.

cosign, i'd much rather have these threads up for a week + ...as opposed to having them every 3 days. more laid-back atmosphere, non-rush and much less of chance of missing something and allows for more conversation and exchange about great albums of the past. i say keep it this way

^Yup and from a voting perspective, some users don't board daily on here. Some every few days or even once or twice a week. By leaving this up for a few days it pretty much guarantees majority of forum members that even semi-regularly board can get their vote in.

It was in my Top 5 at number four but both Edan and DANGERDOOM were front to back enjoyable whereas i skipped past a couple tracks on Monkey Bars. Plus both Edan and DANGERDOOM had more unique sounds to them, especially the Edan, and were pulled off damn near flawlessly.
