People talking about doppelgangaz and epidemic etc albums being the best of certain years... Both these albums especially iron flag got hated on but shit on anything from the past few years

These tracks from iron flag

In the hood
Rules
Chrome wheels
Y'all been warned
Babies
Radioactive
Iron flag
Back in the game

Are all classics

All the emcees were on fire on both albums

I need to revisit 8 diagrams also

the w is great....love the dark, gritty vibe of the album and meth was so nice on here.

iron flag is whatever....it has some good tracks, but it's clearly not anywhere near their first 3 albums.

8 diagrams is ass, imo. one or two good tracks, but it was so forced.

The W is actually my favorite Wu album. The atmosphere and production on that album are incredible.

Iron Flag I hated though. I go back every few years and every time I'm like naaaaah. Production just doesn't do it for me.

Wu-Tang Forever > 36 Chambers > The W

Rest of their discog is average to sub par.

Iron Flag isn't average let alone a classic you doofus.

Was that black or white CC that made that proclamation? some_text

Ghost face , meth, Rae are selling like 10k a piece, wu tang as a group sold 25k their last project. Lupe sold that much in his first week of Drogas light. Tetsou and youth has sold more than that. Wu tang is irrelevant, its not the 90s any More

So Wu-tang's irrelevant yet they sold one single copy of a fucking album for 2 million dollars a couple years ago some_text

Lets see your precious piece of shit Lupe do that bro bro. He'd be lucky to sell an album for a hundred bucks.

Revisionist history is a funny thing, ain't it.

The W is a 4.5 mic album. Some of wus best songs and some of rzas best work imo. I thought it was a great album especially for the time. Rza utilized a set of dark raggae tunes and made this and ghostdog the same way. Two minor classics only real wu fans checked for.

Ironflag... well... yall been warned. Babies. Iron flag. Uzi. All if those are classic. The rest ranges from good (chromes wheelz, in the hood, back in the game) to mediocre (one of these days, rules) to wackkl (soul power, dashing)

8d had some fire. Now THAT album was hated on unfairly. People complained about the production and while there were slme BIZZARE choices on it from rza, it was the emcees that kinda let it down more imo.

But campfire. Take it bavk. Gun will go. Wolves life changes stick me for my riches and heart gently weeps were all good. Even windmill, weak spot were dope.
Rza ruined unpredictable with that guitar tho and starter is NOT a good wu song on any album.

Id rank wu albums as

Wutangforever
36 chambers
The w
8 diagrams
Iron flag
A better tomorrow... tho it may be better than iron flag as well tho doesnt have the pure wu classics in babies or yall been warned.

There are gems on all of the wu albums, I feel 8D gets shit on alot, but I fuck with the majority of the cuts on there.

Hopefully this new wu that is said to be coming out will be at least as good as 8D.

I remember copping the W when it dropped. after the first listen i was wildly disappointed, then it grew on me a bit.

Emcee Conditioner with Snoop and ODB is a fucking legendary song and one that'll always have a place in my heart. I always look out for a 12" of that song and instrumental etc but i've never seen one so I guess it doesnt exist.

Me and my friend wrote a parody of it called "Shampoo Conditioner" followed by "you could never say my hairs not glamorous".

I'm off to listen to that motherfucking track. our parody was never recorded but I'm hooking back up with homie next weekend for the first time in about a decade so i might see if he is down to record it finally.
