still going HAM in the paint with this album a month after it's release. love every track on here, every single track is memorable and stands out. some of my favorite beats, features, and verses of the year are on this album.

experimental/psychedelic/noise rap band from atlanta. saw these guys perform live 3 or 4 years ago when they toured with homeboy sandman and immediately became a fan. this project is mainly just remixes and extra tracks but there are a few new ones on here. if you like death grips, clipping., dalek, techno animal, rubberoom, etc you'd probably dig this.

instrumental math-rock from japan. talking about this band in another thread on here made me want to listen to them again. their drummer takashi is insane, one of the best ever imo. i think i'm gonna take some time to check out some of the non-hip hop albums i've missed this year.

so i got to tell a story: at work, they hired a new marketing assistant yesterday. turns out, she's my next door neighbor. not two or three houses down, my NEXT DOOR neighbor. as in, the only thing separating our two bedrooms is one brick wall. as in, the person who has probably heard every time i've had sex or laughed like a fucking idiot in my room. i'm so exposed!

seriously, i don't even work in my own city. i work in an industrial town, outside of my city. what are the odds of this happening? it's insane! it's like something that would happen to george costanza or something. i can't fucking believe this.

and we're not cool neighbors or anything. i've literally never spoken a word to her in the four years we've lived next to each other. now she's going to be on the social committee that i'm the head of. wtf!?

anyway,

masterpiece. fav tracks: god only knows, don't talk put your head on my shoulder, pet sounds

was listening to sadevillain 1 funnily enough, its a clear boot vinyl came without an inner sleeve though but plays ok. You could put Doom with so many artists and it would sound good, this is dope but GGDoom has the edge over it for me. Dont think he is doing another, and I am not sure if he will press up pt2

apart from that a bit of Roc Marc

I dig him as an MC even though he doesn't set the world alight, he got style Reloaded is dope

Hitler on Steroids, dope comp by forum fave Westside Gunn. Got put onto this dude by bro' mike before the hype so props, why mike had to become rectumcumgod and troll....anyway his childish noises can get a bit much, his screwface in the vids, questionable fashion choice, and voice to quote wicked sounding like he is straining for a shit can grate, but I like him. Must admit it was for the production at first, damn he has some great beats, that Mr T one of my favorite Apollo beats. Got it on Daupe! shitty label vinyl, but come through my phase on trying to buy that label, I think the hype is dying down, I can go to a local store and cop at least 3 of their releases, fuck them. But this comp got great shit on it.

Just a fuckin' great LP from that era, damn this shit knocks. Its a slice of the time real west and dope production, Eazy birthday today so playing a few of his LP's for the fuck of it, real muthaphuckin' G's

e' came good on this such a dope slice of vinyl, great cover front and back. Diss ole' Dre and got a remix as if needed of Boyz in Da Hood but this track a few of the others are classics' RIP Eazy'

nice, short project. NWS and i both picked up a copy of this, when i was visiting san diego a couple years ago. i remember we were bumping it on NWS' car system. it was dope. i'm surprised more people don't fuck with SB. he's a good enough rapper, but also one of the best producers out there, imo. i think fahim fans would fuck with this. fav tracks: your highness, randomly littering knowledge, nyc throwups

love his style, super unorthodox. this album is good but the 2nd half is way better than the first. the posse cut on this "when starz fall" is nasty, heavy beat.

Dope album. They got have an aggressive in your face style. Album for hard basslines and darker themed beats that are littered throughout the album. They also got a dope storytelling track and a weed anthem on here...

does anyone else here listen to a lot of jazz pianists? can you explain to me what's with the groaning? thelonious monk and earl hines do it a lot. in the background of their solo songs, you always hear this kind of groaning, like they're cumming all song. what's up with that? are they cumming? what's with the cum sounds?

lol 88

i brought that up to a friend one time and he said that it's their way of surrendering to the music and getting that pent up energy out, like a drummer would be drumming harder and faster. it's a trademark and it's also their way of being more expressive i guess. not sure if this is true or if there's any evidence to back it up but that's what i heard.

so weird, tippi. you'd think what they're doing on the piano was a good enough channel of expression, but they got to simultaneously cum too, to get all that creative juice out? thelonious monk must have been some kind of fucking genius pervert then. jesus christ.

i think i'm going to start cumming, while i post on here. it's the only way all the pent up trolling/shit talking/essay writing/u-god hating can be fully released, because the words i type aren't enough.

yeah i honestly wonder if it's just a trend that caught on and most of those musicians didn't even realize why they were doing it. maybe the first guy to do it really just loved the piano so much that he would regularly orgasm while while playing it.

thers some iconic shit on here for west coast fan boys but im sorry, i never understood the hype with kurupt. 75% of the time hes terrible to me. nice peeping this tho and hearing nate hooks, he was such a mainstay in music for a good clip of late 90s and early 00s. miss him. but i can appreciate this album from a westcoast rap album standpoint. if u like that shit the most, this is amazing but to me its def a mood thing and more than half the beats on here suck. shortest track "trylogy" is my favorite track as far as showcasing wat kurupt can do lyrically.

gino story time:

i started pretty heavy as a drug user but 16 yrs ago at the age of 15 i chomped 4 dilaudid at a highschool hockey game and started the biggest fight in the history of my school. me and my best friend (a lesbian) who ironically is married to a preacher now (he healed the gay out of her) were in the back seat of her parents car and i gave her some concerta and i took a few as well. she layed her head in my lap and we started to peak as we got close. the bitches teeth were grinding so bad i felt her jaw smashing against my thigh. my other leg is shaking like crazy and her parents drop us off. i throw on my i dont give a fuck shades with the red lenses, get a bottle of water and soft pretzel and take my dilaudid and proceed to start the biggest shitfest in existence. parents fought, every age of my school freshman to senior fought, fights on the ice, it was insanity, full scale riot that i started. wat i remember most bout that night was a girl that was a junior at the time who i thought was super hot said i looked cute high. nothing happened and yrs later my best friend fucked her but it was nice.
