Noveliss of CSF just dropped a new project.

This project is a tribute to my all time favorite producer Jun Seba aka Nujabes. It is also dedicated to two of my best friends who are no longer with us and that is who you see in the sky. Brandon "BT" Taylor on one side of the moon, Kerry Schultz on the other. No other project I've ever done has held this much weight and it means a lot to me to represent the life and contribute to the legacy of Nujabes. It means a lot to remember and celebrate the lives of my best friends. Big shoutout to my artist Aaron Hendrick, always able to turn my vision into exactly what I imagine. This ones for my brothers in the sky. "Kenjutsu Under The Moonlight..."

always happy to get new music from this dude, i still go back to toonami tsunamis, mic swordz, and dilla instinct regulary. i've always felt kinda conflicted when it comes to artists rapping on nujabes instrumentals, but i think he does a good job on here.

Clear Soul Forces got in trouble in 2012 when they were selling Detroit Revolutions with ripped KanKick beats on it.

i think mic swordz is the best out of these eps but i really dig this one

nujabes will always be one of my favorite producers because of the memories i have associated with his music. whenever i listen to his beats it takes me right back to age 12 or 13 watching samurai champloo with friends. i don't think he's the best ever or the most skilled, but i do think his beats are special and that most of the producers that make these types of beats or producers that were heavily influenced by his production never really managed to recreate that magic for me, except for maybe fat jon, blazo, and uyama hiroto. i like marcus d too. nujabes also put me on to so many artists, including yusef lateef who is one of my all time favorites.

so maybe the reason i like this project so much is because it gives me that nostalgic feeling all over again, but noveliss is actually rapping about the things that the beats make me think of. samurai champloo, rurouni kenshin, afro samurai, friends, and being a kid.
