This sonically sounds nice but every song sounds the same. File under 'snoozy throwback jazzy rap''. Would not come back for seconds but that's just me.

on the last track. i wish i could pick my favorite 7 or 8 songs and make en ep cuz these beats do sound really similar but the first half of this is way better than the 2nd half. i dug this tho. some of the beat switches are great.

ive noticed some of the euro producers have caught on to switching up these beats a lil. u cant do 4 plus minutes of a jazz beat over and over for 12 tracks without some fluctuation, it gets beyond boring. everybody is sons of pete rock that does this, like k def, grap luva, damu and all these euro guys. i just think they need to switch it up more. i dig klaus layer the most tho i think and k def is great. but back to the album, maybe if it was 10 songs i woulda put it higher in my top 10 for the yr but thers def 3 or 4 joints on this that shoulda been clipped and the closing track has been done a hundred times.

Alfredo, That is on point. It's a light weight boombap thing that is just missing something. Your right about K-Def being the most solid out of all of them. I guess because he was there first time around.

^ bullshit gino...i was actually gonna comment about how much i liked debonair p's scratching on this...it gave that song a distinct sound that deb p has created for himself over the years and it also sounded plain dope... usually im paying so much attention to his beats that I take for granted how great his scratched choruses are, too. To each their own though if you didnt feel it...you love to shit on random little details...

Were did i mention Scottish hip hop trollo ? You mean the thread i made weeks ago hahha well go see there was a few who knew these names, oh and also check out the part i mention i don't listen to uk hip hop period. I sayd i like the scottish rap battle scene which lets face it shits on american battle rap but why take my word for it ? Go check for yourself, i like a battle to have great humour, roasting the opponent not talking shit about guns and I'll do a 187 on your ass especially when the dude's nerdy as fuck, i could be wrong there may be funny american battle rappers (like em in 8 mile) but i aint seen one yet.

you "ain't seen one"..key words. you have no idea about "american hiphop" or our battle rappers, so take your opinions elsehwere, nobody cares about them and we all know your opinions on our music are invalid. go listen to celtic folk music or scottish bagpipe music, it suits you better.

btw, as you so much try to dis "american" anything, your whole country tries to be like us every single day...and copies everything we do. only thing i see in them videos are wannabe hiphoppers lol

A country that draws bigger and louder crowds than you do, rappers love Glasgow because they actually get an ATMOSPHERE.
What have you done ? Sat on your fat arse for 50+ years thinking your black, while all the decent hard working americans on here have to pay their hard earned cash so that you got your huggies for your inconsistent bladder, fucking tarpaulin pants over there.

Such a great album! Laid-back and chill. I will say that I'm not feelin Track 11 "Landmarks" simply because I do NOT like that rappin style. The beat is nice, but yeah. *shrugs*

Never heard of these guys. I'm feelin' the record. Solid, chill.

^They've been around since 2013 and they have 3 EP's (2013, 2014, 2017) and this Album (2018). Pete Flux is an MC outta Atlanta and Parental (of the group Kalhex) is outta France. K-Def mastered all of their releases...
