the heartfelt joints were the best on the album. it was stripped down and honest as fuck. like i fucked up my stones throw situation cuz i thought i was too good. he was humbled but thers still a little dickheadness ther especially wen i played the album the first time and that skit bout rapping for a fan came on. if i was sick or had to go pick up my son or something and someone asked me to rap if i was famous id take a quick pic and say no but saying no only makes u look like an asshole especially if ur jonwayne and not even really famous.

Definitely one of my favorite releases of 2017. Afraid of Us is probably going down as one one of the hardest hitting tracks I've ever heard, just so much emotion and sincerity in every line from both Jon and Zeroh. Also love the progression of the production as it goes on. The skit with Jon talking to the fan's boyfriend has me laughing my ass off every time I hear it, it's too real

I had heard of dude but never checked him when I decided to download this off the HHB. Literally could not believe how good it was. It's a near-perfect record front to back. Dude easily has one of the best voices and flows in Hip HOp, and his production is smooth as hell.

Not a lot of records from last year had much of an impact on me, but this is definitely one of the few.

Guess I need to revisit this. First couple of spins were underwhelming.

I had never really checked for him prior to this album and I was highly impressed when I heard it too. Great album. I ended up copping it on CD.

Top 10 album last year for me.

Afraid Of Us/Blue Green/Hills one of the best three track stretches on any album last year.

Yeah the production on this is very interesting and the concept or story that this album tells as a whole is incredibly well done. The skit is great too I didn't like it until after a few listens but it's pretty funny and easily imaginable. Also album is a good length. You can actually listen B2B easily.

His verse on the Evidence album was dope minus the 'cum hand' bar.

It finished 8th in the UGHH AOTY voting which is about where i had it.

Ill be straight up and admit i didn't initially check his music cause of how he looks.

wen i heard his voice coupled with wat he looked like it made me check all his music. he sounds doper than guys that look "cool" or stereotypically wiggerish. i think jonwayne and your old droog have some of the best voices in rap the last 10 yrs. i dig hus kingpin and deniro farrar voices to.

I love this album.
The way I found it was in the suggestion bar on youtube.
Can somebody tell me what JonWayne has to do with J Dilla.
