It won the grammy. I'll never forget the shock that year as it beat out Wu Tang Forever - which to me is the greatest rap crew album to this day. Forever also went multi platinum.

I heard Missing you and maybe another hit single. I never checked the whole album.

But did it actually hold any artistic or musical merit?

Or was it a sham that appealed to the clubs?

It did work as millions bought it.

Did it hold up over time?

Thoughts?

Instead 8f making a thread like this, why don't u go on Youtube or download it and form an opinion for yourself, not trying to be difficult but opinions vary greatly on stuff like this, I wood rather listen to it, say some ppl poast here and say its good or bad, what is that gonna do for u, I don't get it

True. You're right. I was nust wondering if it has any merit at all. I didn't recognize anyone on the producer list.

Missing You I felt held up. But it's not original ala Sting. Still it works.

Cool.

Victory - I never felt that song tol tough. But it does have that late 90s transition sound to it.

Wu Tang was robbed that night.

But they in a sense won because of ODB rushing that stage.

That was one of greatest moments in rap ever.

It's like Dirty actually made an acceptance speech.

He made such a strong statement.

R.i.p for real.

Thats hip hop in its purest form.

every freestyle ive ever heard over "vicory" is better than the original. lol at that being some kind of ughh fan saving grace for this album. its a giant piece of shit. everything diddy touches is garbage and damaged goods. biggie dead, shyne done, mase retarded, jlo place holder, making the band none of them anywhere even e ness and mgk garbage. and he could have destroyed the lox career lastly. dude is a jabroni

For a Commercial Pop Rap Album, it had some "good" catchy songs, but this is HipHop Music & Culture so fuckouttahere with that dumb shit.
