Beat wise for me it's a nice combo of his Pain Languge/Legend of the Mask productions. I can hear the Temples of Boom influence.

^^ I got a Temples of Boom 2017 kind of vibe from this too. I can see B-Real spitting on a lot of these joints. Very cohesive album, dark and atmospheric. I hope the new Cypress Hill is as dope as this.

Today, during the work I listen it, like 4hours straight LOL just to see/hear what are you guys so hyped about and yes, this is some flyyyyy shit here...strong album, lyrically on point, even Bronson fit in perfectly well (almost.

What makes me realy laugh are some comments I believe on YT, but not so sure...just read ppl compare this album with some griselda&fahim shit?!? LOL

And I'm not so familiar with Meyhem; please point out some records that I must go thru...thanks!

Dope new interview with DJ Muggs on Mass Appeal website...

https://massappeal.com/muggs-project-meyhem-lauren-cypress-hill-comeback-album/

The next Muggs vs. album is with Roc Marciano, album is called 'Kaos' and is dropping March 2018.

New Cypress Hill album called 'Elephants On Acid' set to drop around April/May 2018.

Muggs is already planning another album with Meyhem for 2019.

In a separate interview with Meyhem on Mass Appeal, he said he's got an album coming with Harry Fraud (supposedly better than the unfinished version that leaked a while back) and he also confirmed he has a full album done with Daringer!!

Roc was talking about the album with Muggs during Smokebox interview when Rosebudds dropped. Said it was going to be dropping over the summer and obviously it didn't. Should be fire tho. Hope it doesn't get delayed for years like the Meyhem one did.

^^ I'm still waiting for my CD to arrive, I'm in the UK so shit usually takes forever!

A good dude I know from the Wu-Corp received his copy though and he hooked me up with the bonus tracks. Champion Style is pretty dope! Frozen Angels is cool too, drums are hard. Pretty much in the same vein as the rest of the album.

Peace!

Meyhem is super boring, dude has no range at all

Every single verse and song is the same, sounds like it could have came out 20 years ago... and not in a good way

Even when he gets a good beat he ruins it

The fact that he gets hyped up so much on this site shows how out of touch and shitty taste this board has, similar to Fahim

Meyhem is on a completely different level to Fahim... there's no comparison.

I'm not the biggest Meyhem fan out there, but dude is cool and when he gets good beats he usually makes good shit.

Only thing I don't like is he insists on putting Action Bronson and Hologram on all his fuckin' albums!

Finally checked this out. Now, meyhem is one of my favorite rappers at the moment. But I was right about this album, muggs fell the fuck off and every single beat he gave to meyhem sounds bland an average to me. Can't even say I will be repeat listening to a single song off of this

You didnt get what I said. Meyhem is 10x better than Fahim

The point I was making is that mediocre mc's at best get over hyped on this board

I'll admit, when I first heard Meyhem on those J-Love mixtapes like 7 years ago I thought he was kinda nice. That wore off quick and I realized he sounds exactly the same on every song, the beats can't carry him. And he does get some decent beats

It's a little too much yo yo yo camoflage jacket corny new york rapper for me

"the brown and tan coogi got me lookin like a chips a hoy, half the wrist is like a brick of boy"

A ki of heroin is worth around 60k

You think his watch or bracelet is worth twice that? lol

Let's be real. None of these dudes that rap about the streets majority of the time are breaking any lyrical barriers. It's more about cadence, flow, beat selection, etc. Meyhem has a pretty good track record of picking nice beats and flows good over them. I doubt anyone's listening to him to have their mind blown by his rhyme schemes, word play, multi's, and triple entendres.

Thats kinda how Meyhem is, you end up losing interest

Both of them can rap, they are just one trick ponies imo
