I saw that Tame One- When Rappers Attack album in a previous round, surprised it didn't make the cut, that might have been my fourth or fifth choice. Shades of Blue too.

I was surprised Tame One didn't get more love too. It actually finished 10th in the third round so wasn't even close to being nominated in the finals. Shades of Blue and Electric finished one point behind Vakill for the last entry from that round into the finals.

Yo 88, Loewi, Phatbeets, etc where your guys votes at? This round is hella close right now.

Jay-Z - The Black Album
Viktor Vaughn - Vaudeville Villain
King Geedorah- Take Me to Your Leader
Immortal Technique - Revolutionary Vol. 2
Canibus - Rip The Jacker

2003 was such a retarded year. One of the last years where Hip Hop felt really special to me, like you look back with those roses tinted glasses and it's all nostalgic and magical and shit. Great year for mainstream and UGHH both.

That Eddie Ill & DL album is dope as fuck. Good call Ollie, I've posted about that in the past.

Word Clock, I guess I should've voted in those rounds haha. That Electric album is dope too.

I previously said this year wasn't that good. Upon further review though I would say it was fairly good, although I do maintain there was a lack of remarkable albums, more like a bunch of solid ones.
