Ice T..."rhyme Pays".../king Tee.."act A Fool"..
Now here's 2 classic west coast albums.Ice was on the new york tip with this album, using the same breaks and beats that was popular in ny at the time.I've always thought king tee should've got more props.his first 3 albums were dope.I believe he put on the alkaholics too. It's too bad a lot of studio gangsta crap took off after real heads like ice t,king tee, and scholly d started making albums.I also, felt above the law was just as good as any old school weat coast group.I'm glad west coast heads started to make dope hip-hop,that strayed away from so called g-funk.Props to the pharcyde, madkap, alkaholiks and others that broke the sterotype, that if you were from the west, you were a gangsta rapper.
Jay Bee shouldn't you be making posts on the general discussion board about how hard you are because you pull guns on 65 year old hillbillies that look at your ugly girl.
p.s. You go wood on that soundclick album of yours??????
King Tee $hit$ on most of today's "rappers"
King Tee=Underrated and slept on.
bbat you're a faggot.
king tee act a fool was the real shit.
its friday night on the streets of la
I never really liked King Tee's first album.
It's a shame most people think NWA were the first people to ever do some harder music. Like it was some crazy brand new thing they came up with.
But the think with the west to me is this, it's like everyone out there has to be some steretype to the fullest. They can't be themselves.
Like if you're a gangster rapper you have to be the most loced out killing motherfucker in the world.
And if underground you have to be on some super boring underground metaphysical big word bullshit.
There is no in between.
That's just for now. It wasn't always like that.
