Best Album Of 2003?
whats your vote for the best lp in 2003 so far?
louis logic - sin-a-matic is just too dope not to be mine.
"Jaylib - Champion sound" doesn't that come out in like two or three days? i got the bootleg but it looks like the release will be significantly different...
just copped "victor vaughn: vaudville villain" that albulm is real nice... i would like to hear the l. logic albulm...
sheek louch - walk with me
outkast dipset ownerz, ownerz being the hottest
lb was dope too
i cant remeber what else came out this year honestly...
the Holla Factory mixtape was ill as fuck too
all around-outkasts new album
Beat wise- Freeways album is one of the best produced albums of the year IMO.
Havent heard L. Logics album yet, but I'm pretty sure that its sick as hell.
Odd Nosdam-No more wig for Ohio or
David Banner- Mississipi
field mob - this year or last?
david banner mississippi
scarface balls and my word
e40 breakin news
do or die pimpin ain't dead
outkast was nice too, i gotta say out of all of em david banner's was overall tha cleanest tho, altho field mob would get it if they dropped this year
Brotha Lynch Hung or Yukmouths new LP.
Outkast. no hesitation from my part.
The new Prefuse was hot as SHIT though. no doubt
i got my Little Brother LP in the end of December of 2002.. but the official release date wasnt til February.
The Ownerz is cool but fell a little short of my expectations.. once it hits "Who Got Gunz" about the halfway point it takes a little dip... those drums REALLY suck on that song... it'd be a lot better if it had a nice deep, thumping kick, and a crisp, sharp, snappy snare.. not them silly drums he used...
Andre 3000's is dope after the first 2 listens... havent gotten into Big Boi's yet.
But that Joe Budden is tight.. people need to stop sleeping on him.
beatwise the clones
i dont listen to white boy rap
mos def The Ownerz
im counting little brother as 2002 cuz thats when i got my copy, but if it was 03 louis logic would have some comp. I was actually pretty dissapointed with the ownerz, but it would be nearly impossible to follow up moment of truth.
the Jaylib bootleg is dope, even if neither of them have the greatest mic skills (Jay Dee came off on FANTASTIC V.2, though).
i know it hasn't even been a week, but the new Outkast has the most bang for the buck in my opinion.
I'ma have to go with R. Kelly - Chocolate Factory on this one.
I'm serious though, a lot of hip hop albums came out but not as great as the classics.
other albums I felt were
Gangstarr - The Ownerz
Madlib - Shades Of Blue and
Jaydee - Vintage
that madlib - shades of blue was also dope
little brother was 2002.
