UNORIGINAL.....Time for another poll
Well, it's been at least a day since someone last took a poll here. I've been feelin' like there hasn't been a lot of really DOPE joints comin' out lately.
I'm curious as to what you guys (and gals, of course) think are the nicest tracks to come out lately. You know the kind I'm talkin' bout. When you hear it and just go, Oh shit. Then you wanna hear it again like right away. I mean truly tight. Not your average, oh that's a nice song. I mean like mind blowin', you really felt it. Personally, I have to go back a bit to find my top five:
Masterminds featuring L Fudge
3. YOU GOT ME
The Roots featuring Eryakah Badu and Eve
5. GOING ALL OUT

The new Q-Tip "Breath & Stop" isn't as bad as "Vivrant Thing". "Breath & Stop" has grown on me; it's not as good as the old Tribe stuff, but it isn't too bad. The video is cliched and the lyrics could work. If you like the Puffy "Satisfy You" song and you can't stand Puff, just buy THe Luniz "I Got 5 On It". The only difference is you don't have to put up with Puffy's rapping, R. Kelly's chorus, and maybe a cheesy keyboard chord. Here are some nice tracks (in no particular order):
1. Alchemist featuring Mr. Eon & Evidence "E=MC2"
2. Peanut Butter Wolf featuring Planet Asia "Definition Of Ill (both versions)"
3. Handsome Boy Modeling School "P-Jays"
4. J-Live "Them That's Not"
5. Mos Def "Mathematics"
