Backing Up Cds
I use Exact Audio Copy to burn CDs but there are some cds that have skips on them. This program fixes some Cds and but I have a few CDs that play fine in a consumer cd player, the skips get dithered or smoothed over or something. But when i burn them, skips are present. How can this be overcome? ( I know some cds are beyond repair, Im refering to the ones that sound fine in some cd players but skip when you burn them) Any software recommendations? Its very possible that I havnt used Exact Audio Copy to its full potential.
do you copy discs on the fly? dont do it. copy the disc onto your hard drive first and then burn it onto a cd-r. i use Nero Burning Rom and i've never burned a bad cd. you can easily find the serial number and get the program for free.
or it could be your cd burner. i got a TDK VeloCD Rewriter and it works wonders
