how to make drum beats on the mpc..
Go th the main screen and select a track 1-64.
Find a kick and snare and play it for 2 bars..now go to track 2 and find a hat..now play this over the kick and snare for 2 bars..
Follow the same procedure for the rest of the sounds.
How to make a bass line on the mpc..
First get a bass note.
Now hit shift and after key over the note slider..now tap the bass sound and put the note slicer to tuning.
Now move the slider up and down while taping the bass sound and find a groove...
I can give u a serious head start with my custom mpc disks also.

yo if you cant make drum tracks you must really have little experience making beats... read the maual and get to sampling... as far as bass goes you should proably start with looping the site is www.mpc2000xl.com/ it wont help you much yet...
