Clokworx - 'Robots' - LISTEN Purchase This
D-Tension replaces Celph Titled on the beats and unfortunately provides the most lackluster beat on the 12". The somewhat folk sample is mellow, but way too monotonous and boring to keep one's interest. The bassline and drums make do nothing to grab your attention. The MC's drop some nice lyrics on robots and the like, but the beat takes a lot away from the song. Pass on "Robots" and grab the 12" for "Preservatives" and "Who's That" instead.

Battlestar galactica meets kool mo dee
hey kgb, maybe paul doesnt like spaceship hiphop, ever think of that?
I think this beat is real nice. The whole record is likable, but Robots and Who's That are real, real nice. If you could possibly hate on a beat, I could understand Preservatives, but not Robots.
Hmmmm....I just don't feel it as much as the other tracks. Maybe I need to hear it on a stereo. The real audio could really take away from it.
I agree, normally you're pretty on point but damn.....
The Robots beat is pure butter butter butter.
