Aardvark Pro 2496 Studio Sound Card?
I'm trying to build my home studio with as less money as possible but I'm not willing to compromise quality. So, having only my computer (a good one) and about $750 I'm trying to get the best gear for the money. I need a good microphone (Studio Projects C1) and a complete sound card, meaning that it's supposed to have everything included: midi, mic-pre, headphones pre and 24/96 A/D converters. In this price range I can choose between Aardvark pro 2496 (~$500) and SeaSound Solist (cheaper). Does anyone have any advice on any of this gear? Do you have any other suggestion for a studio mic around $200?
Thanks in advance
