Organized Noize Track W/ Left Eye, Esthero Ghostwritten By Cee-lo
My guilty pleasure of the day. Don't tell anybody I kinda like it. off the new left eye album. beat is 96-ish Organized Noize.
lol, I typed "Take OUT time"...that sounds like a song about fast food.
I ask this because they both have amazing melodies, especially "Take our time"..If the same cats are responcible for those 2 tracks, as with the Kast albums,. there really is no production equal in hip hop.
That track with Andre is dope as fuck to...
"What the cuff is goin on? Not soft like butter cups I had enough of sangin that same song"
I think ONP did Take Our Time. They also did "Sumthin Wicked Our Way Comes" which has one of my favorite verses by Andre.
Word ETII is the shit, I forgot to mention him...shame on me..that's a fucking team right there...
Also..this may be unrelated..but do you know If ON or ET produced TLC's "Take out time" or "Diggin on you"? cause if so...like damn.
Definately check "Ain't Gonna See Tomorrow" on Mystikal's album or on the Shaft soundtrack. Sounds like a Method Man/Busta Rhymes beat. They should've saved it for themselves because they could've made it into a really really good track.
Don't forget tho...Earthtone III (Andre, Big Boi, David Sheats) have done as much production on the last 3 OutKast albums as ONP has.
Basically all of Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (SPCM) was produced by Organized Noize. Sleepy, Ray Murray, and Rico Wade. Since ATLiens tho, Earthtone III has pretty much had equal or more on the production side. On ATLiens, Sheats (Mr. DJ), Big Boi and Andre produced under what was then Earthtone Ideas. They produced ATLiens, Elevators, Wheelz Of Steel, Ova Da Wudz, and E.T..
On Aquemini they changed their name to Earthtone III, and handled about 3/4's of the production. They produced Hold On Be Strong (Intro), Rosa Parks, Aquemini, Synthesizer, Da Art of Storytellin' 1 AND 2, SpottieOttieDopalicious, Y'All Scared, Liberation, and Chonkeyfire.
Then on Stankonia they produced all but 3 songs: "We Luv Deez Hoez", "So Fresh So Clean", and "Spaghetti Junction". And Carl Mo helped on "Gangsta Shit". Other than that, all Earthtone III.
On top of that, check Eightball & MJG's "Don't Flex", "Throw Ya Hands Up", and "We Don't Give A Fuck". All Mr. DJ. He's a bad ass. He produced 4 tracks on the last Mystikal album. Unreleased track for E-40 called "Ham Sammiches & Coup Devilles" with Big Boi and Big Gipp, that never saw the light of day for whatever reason. Don't know because its tight ass hell. TCP, Cherokee, Slimm Calhoun and guys like Lenny Kravitz even got em on doin tracks. They're on the rise.
So what I'm sayin is, ONP is one of the most underrated production crews out there, but don't forget about ET3.
Organized Noize is probably the best producer crew in hip hop...past or present.
Proof = Outkast since 94'
This beat and the one they made for "Infected" has restored my faith in them.
After that World Party and Concrete Law, I kinda started to get worried. My favorite material from them are their laid back tracks.
